Apple to unveil entirely new MacBook series at WWDC
KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been a reliable source of information on unannounced Apple products, expects that the company could introduce an entirely new MacBook model at the next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference.
Apple Puts Up iOS 6 Banners at Moscone West
Apple has begun putting up banners for iOS 6 at Moscone West, where WWDC 2012 will take place next week. It looks like the next version of Apple mobile operating system is not rumors any more - it's a fact.
iOS 6 is expected to bring improvements to some stock applications. Apple is believed to be dropping Google Maps and replacing it with its own in house solution.

For Every Ten Apps That Developers Build, Seven Are Built For iOS
Ahead of the annual conferences of Apple and Google, analytics firm Flurry compared developer support for Android and iOS by analyzing data collected from over 70,000 companies and 185,000 mobile apps. Its findings show that for every 10 apps that are built by developers, seven are created for iOS (the graph bar above). The company also reports that Google and Apple have a joint market cap of nearly $750 billion.
Alleged New Part Numbers Suggest Over a Dozen New Mac Models Coming at WWDC
9to5Mac managed to obtain a screenshot that demonstrates part numbers, as well as prices of forthcoming Mac models and some accessories. The full list of part numbers includes 27 items.
The first product on the list, part number MC414, is described, as "K31 Best" would represent a new AirPort Express. The next group of part numbers includes a pair of "D2" machines with prices above AU$2000 and AU$3000 respectively, and these parts could represent new 15-inch MacBook Pro models.

Mac Pro to Finally See Updates Next Week
An inventory check of Apple's online store reveals that the basic Quad-Core Mac Pro model isn’t any more available for in-store pickup, meaning that the computers are either sold out or Apple is preparing to introduce refreshed Mac Pros, probably, at the next week WWDC.
Apple TV Firmware updated to 5.0.2 (9B830) for 720p and 1080p models
Apple released new iOS firmware for Apple TV 2G and latest Apple TV 3G. The build number is 9B830 and the firmware can be installed via Software Update or by direct download:
- Apple TV 2G
- Apple TV 3G
We don't see any new features or apps in new 5.0.2 firmware. It is unclear what's new there.
Apple To Update Almost Entire Mac Lineup At WWDC
According to 9to5Mac, Apple is going to update “at least four” out of company’s five Mac lines at Worldwide Developer Conference on June 11. Apple’s current Mac families are MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro and Mac mini. The most likely candidate for an update is the MacBook Pro that has been reported by multiple sources to be adopting a slimmer form factor with the upgrade.
'Greatly enhanced' iOS Maps, upgraded Camera & Photos apps expected at WWDC
At this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) Apple is likely to present new software features in iOS and OS X, and refresh its Mac line up.
Analyst Shaw Wu said on Friday that a new Maps application in iOS to be unveiled at WWDC later this month will be a "greatly enhanced" version with 3D capability. The app was internally developed by Apple and allows the company to move away from Google.
Google Is Going To Demonstrate ‘Next Dimension’ Of Maps On June 6
9to5Google, on June 6 Google will hold an event to introduce the next dimension of its mapping service. The Google’s event will take place just five days before the Worldwide Developers Conference where Apple is expected to show off new iOS 6 with its own mapping solution.
Apple To Introduce Operating System For TV Set AT WWDC
BGR , citing information from a “trusted source”, that Apple will unveil the operating system for its TV set at WWDC next month. Reportedly, the company will introduce the operating system ahead of the actual TV set release so that third-party manufacturers have time to enable their components to be controlled from the TV set and remote.

iOS 6 will have Maps app with 3D mapping [Photos]
BGR just posted images of Apple’s iOS 6 Maps app with 3D mapping. This is just a mockup, because most of the real photos their source was able to capture were blurry.
Apple is reportedly testing its 3D technology in build 10A314 of iOS 6. The renderings are quite accurate, from what the sources say. From what we've heard the 3D icon only exists on the iPad version.
