Apple Watch Saves Teen’s Life, Tim Cook Offers Internship and New iPhone to This Teen





Paul Houle, a high school student, has recently claimed that the Apple Watch saved his life. After some exercises, he felt pain in his chest and back and his Apple Watch showed that his heart rate was 145 two hours after the exercises. Because of all these things, the teen decided to go to the local hospital. As it turned out, this saved his life as he had a rather serious injury that may have led to fatal consequences.

Lucky Customer Posts First iPhone 6s Benchmark Results and More



Adrienne Levin, a customer from the United States of America, was lucky enough to receive her pre-ordered iPhone 6s much earlier than she was expecting. Knowing that there are almost no reviews and benchmarks of the long-awaited handset, she took several photos of her dog using the updated 12-megapixel camera of her Rose Gold iPhone 6s, shot a short 4K video and posted the results of Geekbench 3 benchmark to show us all performance improvements of the new handset.

iOS 9 Adoption Rate Reaches 50% - App Store Data



According to Apple’s latest press-release devoted to the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus pre-sales and retail stores availability, the recently-released iOS 9 is now installed on more that 50% of active devices. Even though iOS 9 bricked a wide number of iPhones and iPads and caused a number of compatibility and performance issues, its adoption rate is close to setting up a new record.

Looks like Apple has finally caught up with the demand for the Apple Watch. Apple has recently updated its official websites in Austria, Denmark and Ireland to reveal that the long-awaited wearable device will go on sale in these countries as soon as on September 25th. By the way, this is the date when the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will become available for purchase in the 12 countries of the first wave of launch.

iOS 8.4.1 vs iOS 9: Which is Faster on Your iPhone?



Now that Apple released iOS 9 to users worldwide, many people are curious about how fast is this version of Apple’s mobile operating system. It’s no secret that system performance depends on the hardware, so if you’re using an iPhone 4s with iOS 9, it will be slightly slower than the iPhone 6 with iOS 9 on board.

9to5Mac reporters have recently shot and shared a good video showing how the system performance of iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 with iOS 8.4.1 is different from system performance of the same devices with iOS 9 installed. The reporters compared the boot time, application load speed, and used a benchmark to check the overall performance. In almost all cases, iOS 9 turned out to be slightly slower than iOS 8.4.1. The browsing and Wi-Fi performance are better, though.

iFixit Performs Teardown of iPad mini 4, Confirms 2GB of RAM



The iFixit team has recently performed a teardown of the iPad mini 4, which was officially announced at a media event last week. Microsoft CEO Calls Apple’s iPhone an ‘iPhone Pro'



Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has recently called Apple’s iPhone with a number of Microsoft apps on board an 'iPhone Pro'. During a meeting called the Salesforce Dreamforce conference, Satya Nadella demonstrated such apps as Skype, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Sway, Outlook and claimed the latter one was the best mail application currently available for users of all platforms. Microsoft CEO explained that he’s not the owner of the phone and that it is used just for demo purposes.
