Apple previously announced that it would be live streaming Thursday’s iPad and Mac event, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the company is pushing out an Apple TV channel to stream the video. It is a bit surprising, however, that the channel is already available at midnight Pacific time. It’s usually much later in the day that it appears.

Apple has released iOS 7.0.4 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The update is a bug fix release with improvements. Apple notes that the update includes a fix for FaceTime calls that could fail for some users. The update is available over-the-air via the Software Update section in the iOS Settings app.
Apple has also released iOS 6.1.5 for fourth-generation iPod touch users. That iOS 6 update is designed to fix the FaceTime bug on the non-iOS 7 capable iPod touch.

An Apple spokesperson explained (via The Next Web) that changes in Apple TV model revealed in FCC filings yesterday are strictly internal, and there will not be any new features. The Next Web also noted that the new Apple TV model will include Apple's A5X processor from the iPad 3 and upgraded Broadcom wireless chip. The external size of the new model will remain the same. Apple spokesperson said:
The new NPD research has found that consumers want more access to online video services rather than "smart" features like social networking access on their TVs. NPD said that a big problem is that TV owners are confused because too much choice is creating a complex user experience.
It looks like Apple witl be livestreaming today’s media event for at least Apple TV users. A new “Apple Event” icon was added to the home screen of Apple TVs.
