Air Display App To Let You Use iPad 3 As A Retina Display For Your Mac
The maker of the popular Air Display iOS app Avatron, today that it will update the app to fully support the new iPad. Air Display allows using your iPad, iPod touch or iPhone as an extra screen for your Windows or Mac computer. The video above shows how it works. The iPad acts a wireless additional monitor and OS X can work with it in the same manner as with any other display.
Sn0wBreeze 2.9.3 released: bugfixes and Apple TV 2G support
iH8sn0w has released new version of popular jailbreak utility Sn0wBreeze 2.9.3.
What is New?
- Added Apple TV 2 support for iOS 4.4.3/4.4.4.
- Fixed rare issues with iOS 5.0.1 where it would halt on the Apple upon boot.
Just adding this in mainly for users who dumped their SHSH blobs. On the initial boot, the Apple TV may have a black screen for 60 seconds after setting up the Apple TV. This is normal.

iH8sn0w has released new version of popular jailbreak utility Sn0wBreeze 2.9.2. Sn0wbreeze is used to create a custom firmware with jailbreak and preserve iPhone modem (baseband) version for unlock. New version 2.9 adds support for untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak as well as support for all firmwares supported by previous versions of sn0wbreeze.
Version 2.9.2 features tethered iOS 5.1 jailbreak for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G.

Apple Plans To Release 8 GB iPad 2 Alongside 16 GB And 32 GB iPad 3
DigiTimes that Apple is going to release a new 8 GB iPad 2 alongside the iPad 3 next week, presumably seeking to cut costs to make the model as affordable as possible while differentiating the model from the iPad 3. Qualcomm Announced Its Fifth-Generation Gobi Chip
Today chip maker Qualcomm its new chip, a fifth iteration of its Gobi platform. It includes a comprehensive support for TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, LTE on TDD and FDD networks and has GPS capabilities. Also it supports the EV-DO and HSPA+ for backwards compatibility. Theoretically, such a powerful combination would allow Gobi devices to connect locally to the faster LTE network and stay connected to the Internet on 3G networks worldwide.
Suppliers gearing up for Apple's launch of new MacBook Air models
MacBook Air lineup was last updated in July of 2011, when Apple added high-speed Thunderbolt ports and backlit keyboards to both the 11.6- and 13.3-inch models, and now sources from Apple's supply chain are waiting for the refreshed notebooks.
The anticipated MacBook Air update was mentioned on Tuesday by DigiTimes, which said that assembler Quanta Computer is expected to see its revenues grow thanks to the new product launch.
