iPhone 6, Galaxy S6 or HTC One M9 Plus: Which One Is Faster?





A new interesting video has recently appeared on the Internet. This video shows us three flagship devices, namely, Apple’s iPhone 6, Samsung’s Galaxy S6 and HTC’s One M9 Plus compared to each other in terms of speed and performance.

The author of the short clip decided to use several applications to test the launch speed and the performance of each high-end smartphone. As can be seen in the video below, the iPhone 6 turned out to be the most efficient device. Samsung Galaxy S6 was nearly identical from the point of view of performance, while One M9 Plus was noticeably slower than the aforementioned devices. And that is strange since this handset has 3GB of RAM.

Apple Offers Best Technical Support on Market - Report



According to the latest computer technical support satisfaction survey conducted by a magazine called Consumer Reports, Apple’s tech support was once again recognized as the best one. As noted by the journalists, four out of five Mac users who turned to Apple’s technical support were able to solve their problem without visiting Genius Bar or paying additional money. If to speak about the companies that produce and sell Windows-based computers, only about half of users were satisfied with their technical support service. And that’s not the first time Apple gets such a high score.

Apple Reveals Temporary Fix for Messages App Bug



As you probably know, a new bug has been recently discovered in iOS. This bug allows to shut down the iOS device via iMessage containing a couple of Arabic characters and unknown symbols. Once the user receives such a message, the Messages app crashes and the phone or tablet resprings.

iOS 9 to Support Force Touch and Feature Other Interesting Features



Several new rumors related to the upcoming iOS 9 and its features have recently appeared on the Internet. Apple on Tuesday seeded the fourth beta of OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 to developers for testing. The release took place about two weeks after the release of the third OS X 10.10.4 beta and roughly a month after the debut of the very first 10.10.4 beta. New iOS Bug Discovered that Crashes iPhones Using Text Message



A bug in iOS 8 has been discovered today, which affects the Messages app users. This bug allows to crash the Messages app or the iPhone using a special chain of Arabic characters and symbols. Immediately after a user receives an iMessage or an SMS with these symbols, the iPhone reboots. If the affected user opens the Messages app after the reboot, the app crashes and continues to crash each time the person attempts to open it.

Google Updates YouTube Player for iPad, Disables Fullscreen Mode



It appears that Google has recently updated their embeddable YouTube player for iPad. While the update usually means that software becomes more stable, efficient and gets new features, this one is not as good as it was expected to be. Google has killed the fullscreen mode on Apple’s iPad. It is currently unknown whether Google has done this intentionally or accidentally, the fact remains: the only way for Apple’s tablet users to watch fullscreen YouTube videos is to use the iOS application for iPad.

Jonathan Ive Gets Promoted to Chief Design Officer



According to the latest email sent by Apple CEO Tim Cook to the employees, Jonathan Ive has been recently promoted to Chief Design Officer. In case you don’t know, earlier he was Apple's Senior Vice President of Design. Because of this promotion, two other people will get new posts at Apple. These are Rich Howarth, who will become the head of Industrial Design department and Alan Dye, who’s supposed to get the post of the head of User Interface department.

Microsoft Plans to Acquire BlackBerry - Rumor



According to the latest rumors shared by insiders, Microsoft is currently planning to acquire BlackBerry. There are several reason for such a decisive step, namely, Microsoft’s desire to compete with Apple on the smartphone market on equal terms and the substantial amount of important patents owned by the Canadian company. However, it should be noted that Microsoft is definitely not the only industry giant interested in BlackBerry. Apple has recently started shipping the high-end 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition models to those people who pre-ordered the devices back in April. Users have begun receiving their long-anticipated 42mm and 38mm wearable devices with black sport bands.

Next-Gen iPhone to Get 32GB of Storage, 2GB of RAM and Force Touch?



As you probably know, Apple may release the next-generation iPhone as soon as this August or September.
