For those who live in Europe, shipping times have recently decreased to 3-5 days.

Number of Apps on U.S. App Store Reaches 1 Million



The number of apps on the U.S. App Store for both iPhone and iPad has reached 1 million. As of Saturday, there were 1,006,557 apps available for download, MacRumors reports. This figure doesn’t include “foreign” apps i.e. those available within one country or a couple of countries, but not in the United States.

The company from Cupertino was granted a patent No. 8,600,120 for "Personal computing device control using face detection and recognition" on Tuesday. Steve Jobs Was Against Idea of Creating White Gadgets



Leander Kahney, the author of the book called 'Jony Ive: The Genius Behind Apple's Greatest Products', claims that Steve Jobs at first was against the idea of creating white gadgets. Another Apple Supplier Accused of Violating Workers’ Rights.



Another Apple supplier has been recently accused of violating workers’ rights. The company called Biel Crystal Manufactory, which produces interior parts for Apple, Samsung and HTC devices is said to be forcing people within its Chinese factories to work overtime.

Lawsuit Against Company from Cupertino - Dismissed



Lucy Koh, U.S. District Judge, has recently dismissed a lawsuit against the company from Cupertino. According to the latest Reuters report, the lawsuit claimed that Apple was collecting users’ location data even when the geo-location feature on their iPhones or iPads was turned off.
