It is strange, but looks like the guys from Cupertino have enough handsets to cope with the demand in these countries. What do I mean by the word strange? Following the announcement of 4 million iPhone 6 units sold in the first 24 hours, Apple has just announced that both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will become available in 22 more countries beginning Friday, September 26th. These countries include the Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. In case you don't know, this Friday, on September 19th, both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch handsets will become available in such countries as the USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

Apple is said to open a new store in Rimini, Italy on August 3. The biggest Apple’s outlet in the region will cover at least 10.000 square feet of place and will be situated in the local shopping center called "Le Befane".
Apple Launches Online Store for Russia
Apple today launched its . The move had been expected for quite some time. Reports from last year revealed that the Apple had registered a new company in Russia with intentions to launch direct sales in the country.
In order to expand into Russian territory, Apple as registered a company called Apple Rus and assigned Vitaly Morozk, the company's local legal advisor as its director general. It is alleged that Apple executives travelled to Moscow in 2011 to find premises for an Apple store but did not find anything suitable. Apple opened the iTunes Store online in 2009.
It's unclear when or whether the company intends to open any physical Apple Retail Stores in the country.
Apple has released new iOS 6.1 with expanded LTE connectivity
After iOS 6.1 Beta 5 for developer’s release, Apple has just added iOS 6.1 for public. This update includes support for new LTE connectivity and purchasing Siri -based tickets to the cinema through Fandango, much as individual downloads of songs in iTunes Match and a new button ' reset ' to track advertising.
"This update contains improvements and bug fixes, including:
- LTE support for more carriers (complete list of supported carriers at www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/)
- Purchase movie, tickets through Fandango with Siri (USA only)

Apple expands support for LTE connectivity in 36 countries
During the Conference on financial results, Apple CEO Tim Cook announced that the 36 additional providers will support LTE connectivity for the iPhone and iPad next week.
Apple Sets Record High With 53,5% Share Of U.S. Smartphone Market
In late November, research company Kantar Worldpanel reported that strong debut of the iPhone 5 allowed Apple to retake the lead in the U.S. sales from Android. Over the August-October timeframe, Apple's share of the market was assessed at 48.1% compared to Android's share of 46.7%.
At the time, the company predicted that IOS share would continue to increase and Apple would hit a record high for market share on the strength of iPhone 5 sales over the following two 12-week periods.
