Apple’s Orders to Make About 10% of TSMC’s Revenue in 2014



Apple’s orders for 20-nanometer chips are expected to make about 10% of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s revenue in 2014. According to AppleInsider, the Taiwanese manufacturer will produce a large part of Apple’s A-series processors. What that means is that the company from Cupertino is trying to get rid of its dependance on Samsung, which is currently one of Apple’s main chip suppliers.

Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray has issued a new report, claiming that Apple’s iPhone 5s is currently available in all of the retail stores across the USA. The analyst’s figures are based on data from 60 locations in different cities.
