First Apple Watch Edition Unboxing Videos Appear Online





Apple has recently started shipping the high-end 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition models to those people who pre-ordered the devices back in April. Users have begun receiving their long-anticipated 42mm and 38mm wearable devices with black sport bands.

Keeping these things in mind, it is not strange that first unboxing videos have begun to appear on the Internet. One of the first videos offering a closer look at the gold smartwatch was published on YouTube by a user nicknamed TechRax, who is famous for boiling the iPhone 6 in Coca-Cola and grinding the handset with a grinder. Next-Gen iPhone to Get 32GB of Storage, 2GB of RAM and Force Touch?



As you probably know, Apple may release the next-generation iPhone as soon as this August or September. Yesterday, a new report appeared online, which gives us some more details on the smartphone and its technical specifications. The document was released by the TrendForce reporters. According to this report, the next-generation iPhone will get 32GB of internal storage, 2GB of RAM and the support of Force Touch technology, which was first introduced in the Apple Watch and the 13-inch MacBook Pro. Just like the previous reports from reliable sources, this one suggests that there will be two iPhone models with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays.

Apple to Announce Next-Gen iPhone in August, Release to Come in September?



According to the latest report released by usually reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the guys from Cupertino may officially announce the next-generation iPhone in August and release the device in September. This report goes in line with the rumors, which appeared earlier this week suggesting that Apple may change its usual update cycle and release the new iPhone model or models in August instead of September. It should be noted, however, that Apple has never organized any media events devoted to new product launches in August, so this may be the first time.

New Rumors About 12-inch iPad Pro Appear Online



According to the latest report released by people familiar with the matter, Apple is currently working on a widely-rumored split-screen viewing mode for the iPad, which will allow users to work with two apps on a single screen simultaneously, multi-user login option as well as on two models of the long-awaited 12-inch iPad Pro codenamed “J98″ and “J99”. Apple to Add Apple Watch Font to iOS 9 and OS X 10.11?



According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Apple is planning to update the look of both iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 with a new font that was originally developed for the Apple Watch and is currently used on the wearable device. This new font will replace Helvetica Neue, which was introduced with the release of iOS 7 in 2013. In case you don’t know, the new font is called San Francisco; it was first shown to public last September.

Apple Adds 35 New Banks to List of Supported by Apple Pay



As you probably know, Apple’s NFC-based payments system called Apple Pay is currently available only in the United States of America. The guys from Cupertino are working hard to increase the number of partners supporting their service. A strong indication of their effort is the fact that they are constantly updating the list of supported banks and financial institutions. According to the latest document published by Apple, Apple Pay has recently begun working with 35 new banks in the USA. The total number of partners among financial institutions is now close to 300. If to take into account the number of retailers and shops across the USA, the total number will be even larger.

Apple Officially Releases First Watch OS Update



The guys from Cupertino have recently released the very first update for the Apple Watch operating system. The Watch OS 1.0.1 contains a number of bug fixes and brings a number of performance and security improvements to the smartwatch. Last week, I told you that the Apple Watch is a potential target for thieves as it has no Activation Lock or Find My iPhone feature. According to the latest report from 9to5Mac reporters, who cite reliable sources, the guys from Cupertino are currently working on an update for Watch OS that will include a feature called Find My Watch. This update will also make the operating system more stable and improve its connectivity and health-tracking capabilities as well as the compatibility with third-party apps. Last Year, Apple Decided Not to Release Its Own Television Set



According to the latest report released by The Wall Street Journal, last year, Apple decided to postpone the release of the television set. Apple to Release Next-Generation iPhone in August - Rumors



Yesterday I told you about the possible shift in Apple's usual product update cycle due to the release of the 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 27-inch iMac this Wednesday. Today a new rumor appeared on the Internet that suggests that the guys from Cupertino may release the next-generation iPhone as soon as in August instead of September. The reason for such an early release of the device is probably connected with the good supply of components for the handset called presumably the iPhone 6s or iPhone 7.
