Apple to Add New Features to Force Touch in Future?
According to a new patent application published earlier today, Apple’s Force Touch technology may be improved in future to allow users’ fingers to “feel” different textures, for example, wood or metal. Looks like the guys from Cupertino plan to add a special hardware component capable of simulating the surface of a certain material using different vibrations and temperatures. Frankly speaking, currently I don’t understand the purpose of creating such a technology, however, Apple will surely find a good application for it.
Apple Won't Release 4-inch iPhone This Year - Analyst
Despite all the rumors about the launch of 4-inch lower-cost iPhone later this year, a well-known and usually reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the guys from Cupertino won’t unveil such a device in the near future. He thinks that the smaller smartphone may be unveiled only in 2016. As to the reason for such a decision, it may be connected with the demand for the iPhone 5s, which stays strong. There’s no point in investing money on a new smartphone if people still buy the old one, right?

According to what can be seen at the U.S. Apple Online Store, the shipping estimates for all the 21.5-inch iMac models apart from the entry-level one, which is the cheapest, have recently slipped to 3-5 business days. Apple Removes Information About Apple Watch Availability from Its Website
As you probably know, the long-anticipated Apple Watch is heavily constrained at the moment. There are two reasons for that: strong demand for the wearable device and Apple’s inability to catch up with this demand. Because of these two reasons, Apple sold out the initial stock of the gadget within just six hours after the start of pre-orders. Shipping estimates slipped to June and for some models - to July.
