Intel Will Produce LTE Chips for iPhone 7





Srini Pajjuri, who works as an analyst at CLSA Securities, has reported that Intel will produce LTE chips for Apple’s new iPhone 7. Moreover, he says that Intel will supply up to 40 percent of cellular modems for the iPhone.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and iPhone 6S Tested in Water



YouTube channel EverythingApplePro released an interesting video a couple of days ago. People behind the channel decided to test Samsung’s new smartphone Galaxy S7 Edge and the iPhone 6S in a plastic reservoir filled with water to see if they can get some unexpected results.

According to Samsung, their Galaxy S7 is fully waterproof in accordance with the IP68 standard. Unlike the previous models, the S7 is supposed to work normally after being held in the water for 30 minutes and can be put up to 1,5 meters deep.

Moreover, the company claims to use not only outside waterproof coverage, but inside as well. It means that even USB ports and the headphone jack will work absolutely fine after you drop the smartphone in the water.

Apple Launches New Support Account on Twitter



Yesterday, on March 3rd, Apple created an official support account on Twitter. It took one day to get 100K followers and now the number of people has increased by another 30 thousands.

Although company has separate accounts for its different services, like Apple Music or App store profile, it didn’t have a general one that can be used for basic questions.

First iPhone With OLED Display to Be Released in 2017?



According to Nikkei, Apple has changed the date of launch of the first iPhone with an OLED screen. Apple Releases New Pre-Release Builds of OS X, iOS, watchOS and tvOS to Developers



Apple on Tuesday seeded the fifth beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11.4, iOS 9.3, watchOS 2.2 and tvOS 9.2 to developers for testing. Latest pre-release builds contain a number of minor performance and stability enhancements and bug fixes.

Apple Granted Patent for Wireless Magnetic Headphones for iPhone



On Tuesday, Apple was granted a patent No. 9,277,309 for a hybrid headphone design, which makes it possible to use single headphones in both wired and wireless modes.

What is interesting, the patent application was filed back in 2012, shortly after the company launched its brand new EarPods alongside the iPhone 5.

New Details About iPhone 7 Revealed: Thinner Waterproof Body and No Headphone Jack



Japanese Apple blog Macotakara has recently shared some news about the iPhone 7.

According to the reporters, the handset will get a number of advanced features, for example, a thinner Lightning connector that is supposed to reduce the overall thickness of the iPhone. In fact, it’s said that the updated model will be 1mm thinner than the iPhone 6. Still, it will have the same width and height.

9.7-inch iPad Pro to Get 12-Megapixel Camera - Rumor



Last week, a report appeared on the Internet suggesting that the upcoming 9.7-inch tablet may be called the iPad Pro and in terms of design and hardware resemble the 12.9-inch device introduced in 2015. According to a new report from 9to5mac reporters, the tablet will get a 12-megapixel camera capable of recording 4K videos. This will make the smaller iPad Pro different from its larger predecessor with an 8-megapixel sensor.
