Several days after the official release of Apple’s 4.7-inch iPhone 6, iFixit experts have performed its teardown, which revealed that the handset is indeed equipped with the next-generation 64-bit A8 processor and M8 motion coprocessor, 1334x750 pixels display with pixel density of 326ppi, 8-megapixel rear and 1.2-megapixel front camera, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 as well as with NFC and LTE chips.

Fixit team has recently performed a scrupulous teardown of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. According to the video of the teardown and the images showing the fully-disassembled larger iPhone 6, the guys from Cupertino equipped the handset with a dual-core 64-bit A8 processor, M8 motion coprocessor, 1GB of RAM, 1920x1080 pixels display with pixel density of 401ppi, 8-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, 1.2-megapixel front camera as well as with a wide number of sensors, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and LTE chips.

Following a leaked image showing a 2.915 mAh battery for the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6 that appeared on the Internet last week, a new video was shared today by a French website called Nowhereelse.fr, which shows us that same part for Apple's handset. The leaked part looks genuine and goes in line with all the previous rumors about the device. Moreover, the French reporters cite Chinese supply chain insiders in their post, so I think we can believe the video, which is, by the way, available below.

Several new images have been recently shared by Nowhereelse.fr, which show something what appears to be a battery for the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6. What is interesting about the leaked part is that it can boast of the capacity nearly two times larger than that of the battery of the iPhone 5s. For those, who don't know: the battery capacity of the iPhone 5s is 1.560 mAh, while the same specification of the next-gen iPhone 6 with 5.5-inch screen is 2.915 mAh.

Microsoft released a new ad today, which shows us Apple's Siri compared to Cortana. The short clip is entitled Siri vs. Cortana – Mirror Mirror and features the iPhone 5s and the HTC One M8 for Windows 8. Several new rumors have recently appeared online, which deal with the new A8 chip that is expected to be added to the iPhone 6. According to these rumors, the processor will remain dual-core, however, it will feature a speed of 2.0 GHz or even more. Making a processor for the new flagship dual-core and not quad-core is rather a strange step. Nevertheless, we all know that even such a weak at the first glance SoC copes with the required tasks better than the chips with multiple cores found inside of the rivals' smartphones.

Several new images have recently appeared on the Internet that show us new leaked components for the upcoming iPhone 6. These parts include SIM card trays, home buttons, new embedded Apple logo, internal speaker and a vibrator motor. The images have been first spotted on Nowhereelse.fr, so I guess we can believe them.

As noted by people familiar with the matter, the handset will come in three different colors, namely, space grey, gold and silver. Moreover, it will feature an updated Touch ID fingerprint sensor, a faster A8 processor and a number of other improvements. The design of the gadget will be very similar to the design of the iPhone 5s. The most conspicuous difference will be the size of the iPhone.
