Apple's Suppliers Are Ramping up Production of Components for iPad Air 2
According to the latest report from DigiTimes, Apple's suppliers are currently ramping up the production of components for the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad Air that is expected to be officially unveiled this fall alongside the Retina iPad mini. The new tablet will boast of faster A8 processor, improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor and some other hardware and software enhancements. Reliable insiders also believe that the tablet will become thinner. At the same time, the size and the display resolution of the device will reportedly remain unchanged.
New Details About A8 Chip Appear Online
Several new rumors have recently appeared online, which deal with the new A8 chip that is expected to be added to the iPhone 6. According to these rumors, the processor will remain dual-core, however, it will feature a speed of 2.0 GHz or even more. Making a processor for the new flagship dual-core and not quad-core is rather a strange step. Nevertheless, we all know that even such a weak at the first glance SoC copes with the required tasks better than the chips with multiple cores found inside of the rivals' smartphones.

New Rumors About iPhone 6 Screen Resolution from John Gruber
Following several previous reports that dealt with the next-generation iPhone screen resolution, a new one appeared on the Internet on Saturday. The report comes from a reliable journalist John Gruber and suggests that the 4.7-inch handset will feature a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi. As to the larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6, it will boast of resolution of 2208 x 1242 pixels with a density of 461 ppi. It should be noted, however, that this piece of news hasn't been confirmed by Apple's suppliers or other reliable sources yet.
