It is Sunday today, which means it’s high time I told you about the most interesting posts of the last couple of days.
Most of the articles this week deal with the long-awaited Worldwide Developers Conference, where Apple is expected to unveil new versions of iOS, OS X, watchOS and tvOS and show updates for iTunes, Apple Pay as well as a number of other interesting things. Apart from that, there are several posts about the upcoming iPhone 7 and the revamped 13-inch MacBook Pro and the specs of these devices.
Apple to Announce Apple Pay for Web at WWDC
According to the latest report from Digital Trends, Apple will bring Apple Pay to the Web this Monday. As noted by the reporters, the company plans to announce the support of its mobile payments system on the websites of its several partner resellers during the Worldwide Developers Conference keynote. If rumors turn out to be true, PayPal and similar services will get a serious rival to compete with.
Martin Hajek Creates MacBook Pro Concept [Images]
Following the beautiful concepts of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Martin Hajek has released a new 13-inch MacBook Pro concept featuring the rumored OLED panel instead of the function keys. Apart from that, the renderings reveal a couple of USB-C ports and a design similar to the design of the 12-inch MacBook. These things prove that the designer is aware of the latest rumors that deal with the laptop and that he find these rumors legitimate and trustworthy.

Intel to Become Second LTE Chip Supplier for New iPhone
According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Intel will supply Apple with LTE modems for some iPhone models. Qualcomm will remain the main manufacturer of chips for iPhones sold on Verizon and in China, but Intel’s modems will be added to the handsets on the AT&T network and on some other markets outside the United States.
Apple to Release Deep Blue iPhone 7 Instead of Space Gray?
According to the latest report from Mac Otakara, Apple is planning to discontinue the Space Gray iPhone color option and introduce a Deep Blue one. In fact, the report suggests that the new iPhone 7 will come in Silver, Gold, Rose Gold and Deep Blue colors. Mac Otakara is a reliable website, however, the origin of today’s rumor is unknown, so take it with a few pinches of salt. So far, we haven’t seen any other reports suggesting that Apple may be planning a change of the iPhone color options in 2016.
LG to Supply Apple with Dual Cameras for iPhone 7 Plus
LG may become the dual camera supplier for the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus (or Pro), Business Korea reporters claim. The mass-shipments of the new camera module will reportedly start later this month as the updated handset should be officially unveiled early this fall. The report is based on rumors shared by supply chain sources familiar with the plans of both companies. These sources add that in 2016, LG will be the only supplier, but things may change next year as Apple is looking forward to diversifying its supply chain.
Apple to Announce iMessage for Android at WWDC?
Among other announcements scheduled for the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference, namely, iOS 10, OS X 10.12 codenamed “Fuji”, new versions of watchOS and tvOS, Apple may also unveil iMessage for Android. The rumor comes from MacDailyNews reporters who cite insiders familiar with Apple plans. Even if we don’t see the announcement at WWDC, Apple’s messenger for Android will be released to public later this year, sources add.

During the 2016 Worldwide Developers Conference keynote next Monday, Apple is expected to unveil a major iTunes redesign, sources claim. As noted by the Digital Music News reporters, the application will become much simpler in terms of UI, moreover, the company will improve its stability and performance.
Apple May Announce New MacBook Air and Pro in June - Rumor
According to the latest report from usually-reliable Japanese website Mac Otakara, Apple may announce an updated MacBook Air model in June. The new laptop will reportedly hit the store shelves in August. Moreover, the website claims the company is planning to unveil a new MacBook Pro model this month, however, it doesn’t specify if the updated laptop will come out along with the Air or later. The report cites reliable Chinese suppliers, so I think we can believe it.

Apple to Stream WWDC Keynote to Mac and iOS Users
Ahead of the start of this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple has confirmed it will organized a live stream of the highly-anticipated event. All those who have Mac or iOS devices will be able to watch the WWDC keynote on Apple’s official website and those who own an Apple TV will get a chance to join the event using the dedicated application.
