Kanye West Spotted with All-Gold Apple Watch on Wrist

As you probably know, there are three versions of the long-awaited Apple’s wearable device, namely, the Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport and the Apple Watch Edition. These smartwatches are made of aluminum, stainless steel and 18-karat gold. The prices start from $350 for the entry-level aluminum model and end with incredible $15.000 for the high-end gold version of the gadget.

Not surprisingly, only several people have been spotted wearing the most expensive gold model of the Apple Watch. Kanye West is one of those people. The reporters saw him wearing the gold Edition with a gold Link Bracelet during the Chicago Bulls vs. Cleveland Cavaliers game. It is rather strange as many of the initial customers haven’t yet received their orders.

S1 Chip Is Manufactured Using 28-Nanometer Process

According to the latest report from ChipWorks, which was mentioned yesterday, the Apple Watch can boast of the processor manufactured using a 28-nanometer technology. And that is quite strange as most of the portable devices these days have more advanced chips inside. For example, the chip, which is currently used in the iPhone 6 is created using a 20-nanometer technology and the one, which is expected be added to the next-generation iPhone, is rumored to be produced using 14-nanometer building process.

Apple's Cash Reserves Beat Those of Most U.S. Industries Combined

According to the information found in Moody's Investors Service study, which was published on Thursday, Apple remains the top cash holder in the United States of America with about $178 billion in cash reserves. Its closest competitors from the technology sector, Microsoft and Google, have noticeably weaker reserves of $90.2 billion and  $64.4 billion in cash respectively. Another interesting fact is that the sum of money Apple has in its reserve is greater that the sum of money most of the U.S. industries have combined. That’s what I call a successful tech company.

One of the things I like most about Apple is that it continues to support older versions of its software. OS X and Safari browser are perfect examples illustrating my words.

According to a support document released by the guys from Cupertino, the company has recently released Safari 8.0.6, Safari 7.1.6, and Safari 6.2.6 for OS X Yosemite 10.10.3, OS X Mavericks 10.9.5 and OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.5 with fixes for WebKit vulnerabilities found in the browser. These vulnerabilities are reportedly connected with WebKit, WebKit History and WebKit Page Loading. If you have any of the aforementioned versions of OS X installed on your Mac, it is recommended that you should update your browser as soon as possible. Phablet Market Grows 21% in Q1 2015 Driven by iPhone 6 Plus Sales

According to the latest report from Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, the phablet market grew 21% in the first quarter of this year. What is interesting is that this growth is caused by the immense demand for Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus, which occupied as many as 44% of the market. Just for you to compare: last year, the phablet market growth accounted for only 6% in the first quarter. The main reason for people to choose a phablet is the size of its display.
