Apple to Release Stylus Alongside iPad Pro Launch This Year

According to the new report released by KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the guys from Cupertino are planning to equip their long-anticipated 12.9-inch iPad Pro with an optional stylus. Since the larger tablet will reportedly be targeted at enterprise customers, who use similar devices primarily for work, the addition of such a tool looks quite logical. Painters, designers and all those creative personalities that might need the larger iPad will also find a stylus very useful, I guess.

Here's How New 12-inch MacBook Air May Look Like [Images]

As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino are expected to release a brand new 12-inch MacBook Air later this year. The laptop will reportedly boast of energy-efficient Intel Broadwell processor, thinner body, better and bigger display and a number of other improvements, which deal with the elimination of traditional old-school connectors from its full-aluminum body.

Below you may take a look at some images showing a high-quality mockup of the next-generation MacBook Air. What we actually see is an incredibly thin laptop with large screen, slightly redesigned keyboard and connectors layout. Still, we should keep in mind that this is only a model, so the actual 12-inch device released by Apple may get a different design.

Microsoft Releases New Surface Pro 3 Ad Featuring MacBook Air

Microsoft has recently released another ad. As you might have guessed, in the short video one of Apple's products is compared to one of Microsoft's products. To be honest, I don't understand how a tablet can be compared to a laptop with normal keyboard, operating system and completely different form factor. I should probably ask the guys from Redmond as they seem to be comparing Apple's MacBook Air with their Surface Pro 3 on a regular basis.

Anyway, let's get back to the most recent commercial. This is the second ad from the so-called MacBook vs. Surface Pro 3 series. It is entitled "Winter Wonderland" and is available below.

Apple on Wednesday released iOS 8.0.1 to users worldwide, but then pulled the update back as it contained a wide number of bugs affecting cellular service and Touch ID fingerprint sensors on many iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units. Within few hours after the unpleasant incident, the guys from Cupertino released a support document, where told that the next update, which is iOS 8.0.2, is currently in the works and that it will be released as soon as possible. Apart from that, Apple gave detailed instructions as to how to reinstall iOS 8 via iTunes. I believe these instructions will be helpful for those who installed yesterday's glitchy firmware version.

Microsoft has recently released three new Surface Pro 3 ads. As usual, the ads mock Apple and the gadgets the guys from Cupertino create.

This time Microsoft chose Apple's MacBook Air as a victim. The company from Redmond claims its newest tablet is more efficient and portable than the laptop manufactured by Apple. Of course, Microsoft fails to mention that the sales of the Surface tablets are weak and that the company lost nearly 1.7 billion dollars since the launch of its first-gen version.
