Valve Launched Counter-Strike: Global Offensive on the Mac
The latest version of Valve’s flagship game Counter-Strike – one of the best-selling gaming titles for PC – has platform via Steam. Global Offensive, the fourth title in the Counter-Strike series, has seen over 27 million units sold during its lifetime. 13-Inch Retina MacBook Pro and Updated iMacs Reportedly Due in September-October
Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst, has released a new report where he expressed his estimates of the Apple's product launch schedule for the second half of this year. In his report Kuo claims that Apple will launch its 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro in the September - October timeframe. However, he predicts that early sales of the notebook might be modest, but with Retina displays Apple’s laptops will hit the market in 2013.
Apple Will Offer Adapter For 19-Pin Dock Connector In iPhone 5
With Reuters confirming rumors that the next generation iPhone will have a 19-pin dock connecter, it becomes interesting what will happen with accessories designed for current 30-pin version that has been used since 2003.
iMore, which first reported about the smaller dock connector in February, now , citing its sources, that Apple will offer an adapter for accessories, which take advantage of the current 30-pin connector. It is unknown yet if the adapter will come with the iPhone 5 in the box or will Apple sell it separately.
Photos Of Earliest iPad Prototype Surfaced In Ongoing Patent Dispute
Network World’s iOnApple issued a on a recently-revealed deposition that was given by Apple’s head of design Jonathan Ive in the patent dispute between Samsung and Apple. During the deposition, Ive was shown photos of the earliest iPad mockups, which apparently were taken at some point between 2002 and 2004. From Jonathan Ive’s testimony:
“My recollection of first seeing it is very hazy, but it was, I'm guessing, sometime between 2002 and 2004, some but it was I remember seeing this and perhaps models similar to this when we were first exploring tablet designs that ultimately became the iPad”.
Apple Is Placing All Eligible Products Back on EPEAT Registry
Last week we reported that Apple asked EPEAT to withdraw its products from its registry, and said that it would no longer register its devices in EPEAT for evaluation. EPEAT assesses the environmental impact of electronic devices and its rating is used by many governmental organizations and corporations as a yardstick for purchases of electronics.
