Samsung Will Explain Why It Should Not Be Sanctioned for Leaking Apple's Secret Documents





Judge Paul S. Grewal has ordered Samsung to explain why it should not be sanctioned for leaking Apple’s secret documents. Earlier this month, South-Korean company executives somehow discovered the details of the confidential Nokia-Apple patent license. It goes without saying that Apple appealed to the court in order to request sanctions against Samsung.

GTAT to Supply Sapphire Material for More Than 30 Million iPhones Yearly



The company from Cupertino has recently signed a deal with GT Advanced Technologies - an American sapphire material manufacturer that is expected to supply Apple with components for iPhone and iPad. Some sources even claim that sapphire will be used in production of the long-expected iWatch, however, these rumors are still unconfirmed.

iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c, as predicted, attract fewer early upgraders in comparison with the last-year iPhone 5 and previous models. What that means is that people owning an iPhone 5 are unlikely to change it for 5s or 5c. And that makes sense, I guess.

According to Chinese sources, Foxconn is now testing a brand new iPad with an enormous screen. Whether this information is legitimate or not is still unclear, however, insiders claim that such a device may be actually unveiled next year. iPad Air is Cheaper to Build than iPad 3



Apple’s new iPad Air is about 13% or $42 cheaper to build than the last-year iPad - the 16GB Wi-Fi-only model cost is $274. Although some components, namely, the 9.7-inch Retina display, are a bit more expensive than earlier, in general the device now costs less.
