Mac Jailbreak Utility for iOS 8 - 8.1.2 Released





Good news for all the Mac users, who want to jailbreak their iPhone or iPad running iOS 8 - iOS 8.1.2. A new tool compatible with Apple's desktop operating system has been recently released. It is called PP Jailbreak and it allows to hack handsets and tablets with the latest version of iOS 8 on board. It should be noted that today's utility for jailbreak has nothing to do with TaiG Jailbreak for Windows. It is a brand new tool created by a group of independent developers.

Apple Releases Another iOS 8.2 Beta to Developers



Apple on Monday released the long-anticipated iOS 8.2 beta to developers for testing. This iOS version includes Xcode 6.2 beta 4 and WatchKit SDK, which means that the developers now have an opportunity to create apps and notifications for Apple’s wearable device that is expected to hit the store shelves in March. The release of iOS 8.2 comes nearly a month after the release of the third beta and about two months after the release of the very first iOS 8.2 version for developers.

Apple Releases Another OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Beta to Developers



Apple has just seeded a new OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 beta to developers for testing. The release comes nearly four weeks after the release of the previous beta and that is a bit strange, since the guys from Cupertino usually make new beta version available for developers once in two weeks. Such a long interval between two releases is probably caused by holidays.

Apple to Update App Store Prices in Europe and Other Countries Within 36 Hours



The guys from Cupertino have just notified their developers across the world that they will change App Store prices in the countries of the European Union, Canada and Norway, Iceland and Russia within the next 36 hours. In some of the aforementioned regions the prices will go up, but several countries will experience the decrease of the prices. And there’s a very interesting situation with Russia, where the prices are said to be “changed” without specifying their increase or decrease. There’re two main reasons for all the changes. The first one is connected with adjustments in taxes policy and the second one - with unstable currency exchange rates in a number of countries.

iOS 8 Adoption Rate Reaches 68% - Apple



According to what the guys from Cupertino have recently posted on their Support page for developers, iOS 8 is now installed on 68% of active devices. Such a figure shows that over the last month, the number of iOS 8 users has grown 5%. As to the reasons for such growth, they include immense popularity of Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well as strong smartphone and tablet sales during the holiday period of 2014.

Apple Raises Developer Program Subscription Fee and Product Prices in Several Countries



The guys from the Cupertino have recently raised prices for their developer programs in a number of European countries. The reporters from an Apple-related German blog called Apfelpage write that German developers now should pay as many as €99 ($119) for the developer subscription for one year. Earlier those who wanted to develop apps for Apple’s gadgets had to pay €80 ($96), so the change in pricing is quite noticeable, I must admit.
