P0sixninja Finds Exploits Needed for New iOS 6.1.3 Untethered Jailbreak
P0sixninja says that he has found the exploits necessary to release a new jailbreak. He does not mention it, but it looks like this jailbreak will be for the latest iOS 6.1.3. In the past the hacker contributed to various jailbreak releases in the past including: GreenPois0n, Cdev Reporter, Absinthe, etc.
Well, so far it looks like the next jailbreak might be created entirely by me.
Facebook Is Likely To Debut Its Own Android-Smartphone On April 4
Today Facebook invited members of the press to an event related to Android on April 4, and TechCrunch that Facebook will likely debut its long-rumored smartphone at the event. According to previous reports, the handset would be an HTC smartphone based on Facebook-modified version of Android OS.
Apple Stores Are Pushing New Table-Based Customer Service Strategy
Apple is gradually rolling out a new customer service initiative called ‘table selling’ across its retail stores. With the new strategy, employees at Apple Stores are assigned a product table at which they are responsible for serving groups of customers with the same device but different needs. Previously, employees helped each customer individually on a first-come, first-serve basis which often resulted in lengthy wait times.
Apple examines possibility of flexible display appliance for iPhone
The United States Patent and Trademark Office published an Apple patent application (via AppleInsider), which offers the possibility of using a flexible display in iPhone or in other mobile device with transparent cover as glass tubing or other form. The display would be able to cover the edges and backside of the device, even to make a more visible area.
Apple is to cut iPad mini shipments in Q2 2013
DigiTimes reports that according to an industry source, Apple intends to cut iPad mini in the second quarter of 2013. The cut is reportedly a 20% reduction for April.
Apple Is Facing Patent Infringement Lawsuit Over Siri In China

As Shanghai Daily , Apple is facing a suit in China from a local company claiming that Siri infringes on its patent rights. The court in Shanghai will hold a pre-hearing today where Apple and the plaintiff, Shanghai Zhi Zhen, should exchange evidence. The report notes:

Apple Plans To Triple Its Reseller Network In India By 2015
According to a from The Economic Times, Apple plans to triple the size of its reseller network to 200 stores in India by 2015. Reportedly, Apple's vice-president (sales) for India, Europe, Middle-East and Africa Hugeues Asseman discussed some of these plans with key franchisee owners and trade partners during his visit to Mumbai last month. As The Wall Street Journal , Apple has acquired indoor location positioning company WifiSLAM for around $20 million. Apple has confirmed the acquisition deal, but declined to share any details on its plans for the company. The report said:

The Guardian's report, today Apple added a new tagline "Offers In-App Purchases" directly underneath the Free/Buy button for App Store apps that support the feature. The tagline helps make clear to users that paid or free apps may require additional in-app purchases in order to enable apps’ full functionality or receive other benefits such as in-game currency. The New York Times reports that European Union regulators have a deep interest in the contracts between Apple and iPhone vendor partners in order to identify the anti-competitive behavior of the company. In particular, Apple requires from suppliers to sell a certain number of iPhone, putting pressure on it.

Today an analyst Amit Daryanani from RBC Capital Markets has issued a new research report predicting a launch for both a lower-cost iPhone and the iPhone 5S in June-July timeframe, which is in line with other recent claims.
