Turkey has recently got its own Apple Online Store. Although the website is now only partially operational, looks like in near future customers from this country will be able to purchase iPhones, iPads, Macs and other gadgets and accessories directly from Apple.

Apple to Open First Retail Store in Brazil in 2014



According to the latest 9to5mac report, Apple will open its first retail store in Brazil next year - in February or March. The store is expected to be situated in Rio de Janeiro since precisely this location was officially confirmed in November of 2012.

iPhone 5s and 5c Account for More than 5% of All iPhones in Use - Localytics



According to the Localytics report, iPhone 5s currently represents nearly 4% of the global iPhone share. iPhone 5c still remains less demanded - it accounts for only about 2%. However, latest estimates show that Apple’s plastic handset is gaining popularity, especially in the U.S.A.

Apple filed another patent. This time it’s a system that allows to control access to content using a person's physical features. USA Today Claims that iOS 7 is Apple's "Most Troubled" Operating System



USA Today claimed on Thursday that iOS 7 is the "most troubled" if to compare it with older versions of the Apple’s mobile operating system. However, the journalists were unable to provide at least one expert's conclusion or independent testing result, so looks like such an article was aimed only to draw some attention from the newspaper readers, that’s all.

Apps on the iPhone 5s Crash Twice as Often as on the iPhone 5 ans 5c



According to Crittercism (via AllThingsD), applications crash twice as often on the iPhone 5s than on the plastic iPhone 5c or even on the last-year iPhone 5. Surprisingly, this is all due to the flagship’s new 64-bit processor, which debuted in September. The apps running on the 5s have a crash rate of nearly 2%, while those on the iPhone 5 and 5c’s 32-bit chip - of about 1%.

New iPhone 5c ads have appeared on the San Francisco’s billboards, bus stops, kiosks etc. recently. These large posters are of two designs - the first one simply shows the back shell of the plastic iPhone and the second one depicts a front bottom and rear top parts of the device.

Apple has Added 'Tips and Tricks' Guide to its iPhone Website



Apple has recently added a ‘Tips and Tricks' section to its iPhone website. Here all users can grab useful information about the new iOS 7 features.

The three new pages - for the iPhone 4s, iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s - include sections devoted to photography, swipe gestures, FaceTime, Maps, Siri, Calendar, Music, Mail, Safari, AirPlay and Wireless, Settings, Compass, and Find My iPhone feature.

These pages are really helpful, especially if you’ve purchased the iPhone for the first time and have no idea of how to use it.
