PP Team Releases iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Tool for Mac



I’ve got some good news for those people who plan to jailbreak their devices running iOS 8.4, but who don’t have a Windows computer to use Taig tool. The PP team has recently released a brand new jailbreaking utility for OS X. Even though this tool is said to be based on the exploits stolen from Taig, currently, this is the only utility available for Mac users. The PP tool for jailbreak is capable of hacking the devices with iOS 8.1.3 - iOS 8.4 on board. It is available for download from here.

Apple Takes 92% of Profits with 20% Smartphone Market Share



According to the latest report from Canaccord Genuity, Apple takes 92% of the entire smartphone market profits with only 20% share of smartphone sales. As noted by the analysts, back in 2007, when the guys from Cupertino introduced the iPhone, two-thirds of the smartphone market profits were taken by Nokia. In 2012, the profits of Apple and Samsung were nearly equal, however, since that time, the situation has changed and now we see that Apple is far more successful that its South Korean rival.

Apple to Release 12.9-inch iPad Pro in November - Rumors



According to the latest report from DigiTimes reporters, Apple will officially unveil the long-awaited iPad with a larger screen in November. The device will reportedly feature a 12.9-inch display and stereo speakers. It may also get a screen resolution of 2732×2048 and iOS 9 as an operating system.

Taig 2.41 Beta with Fixes and Improvements Is Available for Download



Taig Team has recently released a new beta of the tool for untethered jailbreak of iOS 8.4. This beta has an index 2.41 and contains several bug fixes and general improvements. In particular, the developers have successfully fixed the bug causing the jailbreaking process to get stuck at 60%. PC and Mac Shipments Decline, Gartner Reporters Claim



According to the latest report from Gartner, worldwide PC shipments have declined by 9.5% in the second quarter of 2015. As noted by the analysts, this is the most noticeable decline since Q3 2013. PC vendors managed to sell 68.4 million computers in the past months.

If to speak about the Mac sales in the second quarter of this year, they saw a decline as well. The sales of Apple computers fell only by 2.5%. It should be pointed out, however, that this number represents only the sales results in the United States of America, where Apple products are incredibly popular among the customers. Apple Seeds OS X 10.11 El Capitan Beta 3 to Developers

According to something rumored to be a leaked internal document, the guys from Cupertino are indeed planning to equip their upcoming handset with a brand new photo sensor capable of recording 4K videos. Jony Ive Officially Becomes Apple’s Chief Design Officer



Jony Ive has finally become Apple’s Chief Design Officer. His profile on Apple’s official website has been updated recently to reflect his new post. Apart from Ive, two other company executives have been promoted. These are Alan Dye who is now Apple’s Vice President of User Interface Design and Richard Howarth, the chief of Industrial Design department. As you might have guessed, Dye will be responsible for the software and its look and Howarth will focus on the hardware.

Next-Gen iPhone to Feature New Qualcomm LTE Chip



As you already know, the next-generation iPhone will look nearly identical to the current iPhone 6. However, as shown on the images that appeared on the Internet earlier this week, Apple’s handset will boast of a brand new LTE chip manufactured by Qualcomm. This chip will reportedly support faster LTE speeds (up to 300 Mbps) and be more energy efficient. Together with the upcoming iOS 9, this may lead to a substantial increase in battery life of the iPhone 6s.

First Photos Showing iPhone 6S Casing Leak Online [Images]



According to the latest report shared by people familiar with the matter, the next-generation iPhone called presumably the iPhone 6S will get a design nearly identical to the design of the current iPhone 6. The thickness and width of the smartphone will remain the same and it will feature same antenna lines as its predecessor.
