Apple Granted Patent for Docking Station with Flexible Connector





Apple has been recently granted a patent for a brand new docking station for smartphones and tablets with a flexible connector inside, which makes the whole mechanism more durable and easy to use. The patent is entitled “Dock connector with compliance mechanism” and its number is 8.986.029. Images Showing Apple's New Wireless Keyboard Appear Online



A brand new wireless keyboard has been recently spotted on the official Apple Online Store in Czech Republic and Hungary. What is interesting about this keyboard is that it can boast of  backlight keys and a power button instead of the usual eject button for CDs. As can be see below, the new wireless keyboard has the same size and shape as the old one, however, the F5 and F6 buttons have been made responsible for adjusting the brightness of the backlight.

iOS 8.3 Features New iTunes and App Store Password Settings



Apart from Siri’s ability to make calls using iPhone’s speakerphone added to the latest iOS 8.3 beta, one beta-tester has recently noticed one more feature included to the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. This feature is a new Setting tab called Password Settings. Siri Now Can Make Calls Using Speakerphone



With the release of iOS 8.3 beta, the guys from Cupertino have slightly improved the functionality of the build-in voice assistant. According to what reliable sources write, Siri now can make calls via speakerphone every time user asks for that using the “Hey Siri” command. Strangely enough, such a simple feature was missing in iOS 8 - 8.2. It’s good Apple discovered this and found a solution to the problem.

Apple TV to Be Updated with New Processor, Siri and More This Year



According to what people familiar with the matter write, at the annual Worldwide Developers Conference scheduled for June, the guys from Cupertino plan to announce a new Apple TV set-top box. The new media device will reportedly boast of Apple’s A8 processor and a big amount of internal storage. Apart from that, the sources claim Apple will add Siri to its next-generation set-top box and create a special App Store version with applications for Apple TV. According to the latest video showing progress on the construction site of Apple’s new “Spaceship” campus, the steel structure at the gates of the would-be headquarters has reached the fifth floor. This indicates that the construction workers do their job extremely quickly. Apple Gets Patent for Brand New Mac Keyboard



Apple on Thursday was granted a patent for “Method and Apparatus for Localization of “Haptic Feedback”. In other words, this is the document, which describes a brand new type of a Mac keyboard with a touch-sensitive flat surface similar to the one Magic Trackpad has. Physical keys on this keyboard are replaced with virtual ones. Their work is based on the technology nearly identical to Force Touch that debuted in the Apple Watch and the trackpad of Apple’s new 12-inch MacBook.

TAG Heuer Partners with Google and Intel to Produce Apple Watch Rival



A well-known watchmaker from Switzerland called TAG Heuer has recently announced its partnership with Google and Intel aimed at creation of the new high-end and luxury smartwatch.
