Real Racing 3 updated with new cars and events

According to The Guardian's report, today Apple added a new tagline "Offers In-App Purchases" directly underneath the Free/Buy button for App Store apps that support the feature. The tagline helps make clear to users that paid or free apps may require additional in-app purchases in order to enable apps’ full functionality or receive other benefits such as in-game currency. Cydia Сounts 18 Million Jailbroken Devices in Six Weeks



Saurik reports that about 18 million devices were counted by Cydia in the last six weeks, between untethered jailbreak release and iOS 6.1.3 which blocks this jailbreak. According to Forbes:

In the six weeks since evasi0n was released, however, close to 18 million devices have already been jailbroken, according to data from Jay Freeman, the administrator of the Cydia app store for jailbroken devices. He says he’s counted 18.2 million unique devices running iOS 6 visiting Cydia, including 13.8 million iPhones, 3.4 million iPads, and 1.1 million iPod Touches. Those numbers vastly exceed previous jailbreaks such as Jailbreakme 3, a popular hacking tool for iOS released in the summer of 2011 that was used on around 2 million devices, according to a count at the time by creator Nicholas Allegra.

Appeal filed by Apple in Mexico was rejected



An appeal filed by Apple over its use of the "iPhone" trademark in Mexico, was rejected, according to The Wall Street Journal. It continues for some time, but did not appear to affect Apple’s ability to sell the iPhone and related services in the country.

Google Released First Update To Its Google Maps App For iOS



Today Google updated its Google Maps app for iOS with version 1.1. This is the first update since the company released its standalone app in December after Apple replaced Google’s Maps app with its mapping solution in iOS 6.

The update brings several improvements to Google Maps, including easier searching for local places and integrations with Google Contacts.

A five-year-old boy from the UK accidentally made a purchase in the amount of £ 1700 ($2550) in just 15 minutes. This was happened after he asked his father to enter the password for the free download, reports BBC (via Gizmodo).

Apple has taken the number one position in Fortune's annual list of World’s Most Admired Companies for sixth year running.

The Fortune’s ranking is based on a extensive poll of industry analysts, corporate executives and directors who ranked companies by nine key attributes: Use of corporate assets, People management, Financial soundness, Innovation, Social responsibility, Quality of management, Financial soundness, Quality of management, Long-term investment, Global competitiveness and Quality of products/services. Apple scored the number one spot in all nine categories.
