Apple Became Top Wearables Vendor – Analyst





According to the latest report shared by Strategy Analytics, Apple has overtaken Fitbit and become the largest wearables vendor in the world. During the last calendar quarter, the company shipped 3.5 million Apple Watch units and took 15.9% of global market. In the first quarter of 2016, Apple’s market share was 12.1% and the shipments accounted for 2.2 million units.

According to the latest survey conducted by Experian and Creative Strategies survey, 98% of AirPods users are satisfied with their headphones. Most of these people would also recommend the wireless headphones to a friend or relative. 942 AirPods owners took part in the survey.

Siri Helps to Save Lives of 3 Fishermen



Siri on an iPhone 7 has once again helped to save several lives. Three fishermen who traveled four miles from the coast of Key Biscayne last Sunday nearly drowned after their boat started taking on water. Luckily, one of them had a waterproof iPhone 7 and managed to call emergency services using Siri.

New schematic showing something similar to the iPhone 8 rear panel has leaked online. The image is interesting as it shows the dual camera placed vertically as well as what appears to be a wireless charging component. It’s difficult to say if the component depicted below is legitimate or not as it was shared by an unknown sources on the Chinese social network Weibo. After that, it was reposted by KK Leaks, OnLeaks, and Benjamin Geskin.

Apple Seeds iOS 10.3.2 Beta 4 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 to Developers



Apple has released iOS 10.3.2 Beta 4 and macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 to developers for testing. The updates contain bug fixes and security improvements. No details about new features have surfaced so far.

The fourth beta of iOS 10.3.2 has a build number 14F5086a and features enhancements for Siri and third-party VPN services compatibility. There are no other noticeable changes.

macOS Sierra 10.12.5 Beta 4 is a minor update with a build number 16F67a. According to Apple, the update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of macOS and compatible computers.

iPhone ASP to $753 in 2018 – Analyst



According to the latest report from Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty, the average selling price of the iPhone will rise dramatically in 2018. During the last holiday quarter, iPhone ASP was $695, while in 2018 it may rise to $753 due to new features and design of the OLED iPhone 8. Another possible reason is the fact that customers are now choosing ‘Plus’ models more often than smaller handsets. Larger iPhones are more expensive, and this influences the average selling price.
