iPad Pro Outperforms Other iOS Devices in Benchmarks





ArsTechnica experts have recently tested the iPad Pro using Geekbench 3 benchmark and compared the results of this tablet with the results of the iPhone 6s, iPad 2, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4 and iPad Air 2. The iPad Pro outperforms all iOS devices that have been tested in both single-core and multi-core tests and that is not strange since Apple has assured its users that this device is the most efficient in the entire lineup of portable Apple-branded gadgets.

Apple has just launched its streaming music service called Apple Music on Android. Just as it was announced earlier this year, the service costs $9.99/month and offers users unlimited access to thousands of songs of various genres. Apple Won’t Use AMOLED Displays in Next-Gen iPhones - Analyst



According to the latest report from a usually-reliable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple won’t use the AMOLED displays for the next-generation iPhone. The expert believes the company will continue using the TFT-LCD displays for at least three years or even longer.

Google Will No Longer Support Chrome on OS X Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion and Windows XP, Vista



Google has recently announced that it will stop supporting older platforms, such as OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, OS X 10.7 Lion and OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion as well as Windows XP and Windows Vista in the near future. To be more precise, the company revealed that the support will end in April 2016.

Apple CEO Tim Cook Says We No Longer Need Computers



In the most-recent interview to The Independent reporters, Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed that he travels with the new iPad Pro and iPhone and that he feels he doesn’t need the laptop or computer any more. The reason for a switch to the tablet is probably connected with new Smart Keyboard compatible with this device. Cook has also pointed out that the Apple Pencil is not the stylus in its usual meaning, but a pencil that can be used for drawing, writing and performing a number of other things.

Apple Remains Top US Smartphone Manufacturer, LG Sees Substantial Growth - Analysts



According to the latest report from a research firm called comScore, Apple remained the top smartphone manufacturer in the United States of America in the third calendar quarter of this year. Even though Apple’s share fell from 44.1% in June to 43.6% in September, this result allowed the Cupertino-based company to continue being a leader of the market. Samsung also saw a decrease in the number of users, however, the South Korean tech giant managed to get the second place in the rating. The only company, which demonstrated growth in the number of users was LG. It came in the third spot.

iPad Pro to Go on Sale in Over 40 Countries Later This Week



Apple has just officially confirmed that the long-awaited 12.9-inch iPad Pro will become available for pre-order in the United States and a number of other countries of the first wave of launch on Wednesday, November 11th. After that, by the end of this week, the larger-screened tablet will go on sale at Apple Stores, Apple Authorized Resellers and partner stores across the globe. Together with the iPad Pro, customers will get an opportunity to buy the Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil.

Here’s How iPhone 6c Might Look Like [Concept]



As it was reported earlier this week, Apple may be planning to change its usual product update cycle and release new iPhones much earlier than in September of 2016. In particular, a smaller 4-inch iPhone may be released in the first or second quarter of the next year and the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus with new A10 processors as well as 2GB and 3GB of RAM respectively may be unveiled in June or July.

The design of new Apple-branded smartphones remains unknown and this allowed the SET Solution experts to create a beautiful and quite realistic iPhone 6c concept.
