Important Note for iOS 7 Users Ahead of iOS 8 Release



On Wednesday, September 17th Apple is expected to release iOS 8. This means that there only several hours left for those who need to restore their jailbroken iPhones to iOS 7.1.2 without losing jailbreak. After iOS 8 is released, the guys from Cupertino will no longer be signing iOS 7.1.2. In this case, if a user tries to restore the device using iTunes, he will be forced to update to iOS 8.

According to the reports from several different sources, Apple has begun shipping the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units to customers. People who ordered one of the new handsets claim that the shipping estimates point to the arrival of the long-anticipated gadgets on September 19th. As you probably know, this is the date, when the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch smartphones are expected to hit the store shelves.

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus to Become Available in Many Countries Soon



Following the announcement of 4 million iPhone 6 units sold in the first 24 hours, Apple has just announced that both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will become available in 22 more countries beginning Friday, September 26th. These countries include the Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates. In case you don't know, this Friday, on September 19th, both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch handsets will become available in such countries as the USA, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the UK.

Apple Pay to Cause End of Physical Bank Cards Era?



According to what the CEO of mobile banking startup called Moven writes, the introduction of Apple's payment service could possibly mean the end of plastic bank cards in the next two or three years. And I must admit that it is a massive step forward as Apple Pay and other systems based on NFC or similar technologies are way more reliable and secure than the existing physical cards, which can be lost, stolen, damaged and in any other way made unusable. Apart from that, they can be hacked by cyber criminals.

Samsung Releases New Ad, Says Apple Copied Its Devices



Samsung has recently posted a new ad mocking the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. In the short video, which is available below, Samsung claims the guys from Cupertino copied the large displays of South-Korean smartphones and their overall design. Aside from mocking Apple's handsets, the ad shows us the next-generation Galaxy Note. I must admit that both smartphones, the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy Note 4, look very similar in terms of size and shape.

According to the latest reports from reliable sources, Apple is thinking about launching a loyalty program for its recently announced Apple Pay service. This program will reportedly allow users to download music, apps or TV shows for free after a successfully completed transaction or a number of transactions. Such rewards can help to promote Apple's payments system and urge people to use it whenever and whenever it is possible.

AT&T Announces Record-Breaking Number of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Pre-Orders



Earlier today, AT&T announced that the amount of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders had set a new record. In fact, the number of people willing to purchase Apple's next-generation handsets was so enormous that it even caused some problems to the webpage, where one could pre-order the iPhone, forcing the company to switch to the reservation system to cope with the load. However, the exact amount of those, who decided to buy the next-gen iPhone is still unknown.

Apple to Get 0.15% of Each Apple Pay Purchase



Alongside the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch release on Tuesday, the guys from Cupertino announced their long-anticipated payments service called Apple Pay. As I've already told you, the system is based on the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology and uses Touch ID for making each payment as secure as possible. Gold Apple Watch to Cost $1200 - Rumor



As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino on Tuesday announced several versions of their wearable device, namely, Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. All of them are expected to become available no sooner than in 2015. According to the latest report from TechCrunch, the most luxurious 18-karat version of the Apple Watch may get a price of $1.200. It should be noted, however, that this is the estimated price based on the size of the device and the cost of materials used for the production of the golden smartwatch. The actual price may be lower or even a bit higher.
