Apple Has Officially Unveiled the 'Apple Watch'
Aside from the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6, Apple has just unveiled its long-awaited wearable device called Apple Watch. According to what was said during the presentation, the smartwatch will come in three versions and two sizes and get a price tag of $349 for a basic model.

The compartible device list includes every iPhone from the 4s on, every iPad starting with the iPad 2, and the fifth-generation iPod touch.

Just like we expected, Apple has just unveiled its long-anticipated 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6. The larger handset, by the way, got the name iPhone 6 Plus. Apple Granted Patent for Method of Hardening Sapphire Screens
Apple on Thursday was granted a patent for a technology of hardening the sapphire structure. The patent application was published on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office official website. The patent is entitled "Sapphire property modification through ion implantation" and it describes a method of adding ions in a sapphire structure so that it becomes stronger and prevents this material from cracking. The advantage of the new technology is that it allows to make the sapphire stronger without using the chemicals.

The data that deals with the rate of adoption of new versions of popular operating systems and the level of their fragmentation has been recently shared by a research firm called OpenSignal.
