iPhone 6 Concept Features a 3D Camera [Video]
Check out this iPhone 6 concept that features a 3D camera and an edge-to-edge display. The concept was created by Hassen cad and an additional video was edited by Ran Avni.
iPhone 6 concept with 8MP 3d camera, FaceTime HD camera with 3.2MP, new design, edge-to-edge and 4.8" display.
Apple adding a 3D camera to its device, although unlikely, is possible.

Apple's smart iWatch will launch in mid 2014
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been fairly accurate regarding Apple hardware releases, claims that Apple's smart watch will not be released until the end of 2014.
Apple may not have adequate resources to develop an iWatch version of iOS because it may require big changes to iPhone and iPad iOS this year. In addition, wearable device components aren’t mature. For these reasons, we think mass production of the iWatch is more likely to begin in 2H14, not 2H13 as the market speculates.
Mass Production Of iPad Mini Retina Displays To Start In June Or July
Following yesterday’s report from DisplaySearch analysts which indicated that a Retina iPad mini would launch in a third quarter, the company today CNET that production of Retina displays for the next iPad mini should start in June or July.
Analyst Expects Retina iPad Mini Updates In 3Q 2013 and 1Q 2014
An analyst Richard Shim from NPD DisplaySearch claims () that Apple is going to release two updated iPad mini devices.
"We see two refreshes coming. One in the second half of this year, then one in Q1 [first quarter] of 2014," analyst Richard Shim told CNET late Sunday night.
"The Q1 [2014] device will have a Retina display plus an updated processor," Shim added.
Jony Ive’s Design Overhaul Could Lead To Delays For iOS 7
Today Bloomberg that Jony Ive’s efforts to redesign iOS as part of his new software design role puts Apple at risk of delaying the release of iOS 7. While a public release is said to currently stay on schedule for "as soon as September", internal deadlines in the company has been pushed back as software teams race to finish iOS 7 and prepare a preview for Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
Apple Looking To Improve In-Car Integration Of Siri And Maps In iOS 7

Amazon Working On Competitor To Apple’s TV Set-Top Box
Bloomberg Businessweek that Amazon is working on a set-top box to stream video content over the Internet via its Instant Video and Amazon Prime services.
The box will compete with similar products like the Roku and the Apple TV, as well with a more versatile devices such as Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's Xbox that have moved into the streaming video field in recent years. The report notes:

Amazon Acquired Siri-Competitor ‘Evi’ For $26 Million?
According to a from TechCrunch, Amazon has acquired natural language search platform Evi for $26 million. Originally, the Evi app was distributed through the App Store, but Apple had threatened to delete the app over similarities to Siri. However, later the company said that it would "work with" the developer to reduce similarities. Evi was first launched in early 2012 and it is still available on the App Store as a free download. Foxconn Hiring New Workers For iPhone 5S Production
Today Bloomberg that Foxconn has started hiring new workers as it is preparing for iPhone 5S production. The report said:
"Workers have been recruited at Foxconn’s plant in Zhengzhou, eastern China, for the past month, ending a hiring freeze imposed in February, said the person, who asked not to be named because the plans haven’t been made public. The extra workers will assemble the new device as well as existing models and have been added at Apple’s request to boost capacity, the person said”.
