iPad 5 will probably look like a big iPad Mini





A photo of the glass front panel for the iPad 5 has allegedly leaked online, reports Apple.pro. The image was posted to photobucket by hihiapple.

As expected the panel features a bezel similar to the iPad mini with narrow sides. Recently a video was leaked (see below) showing several cases supposedly manufactured for the iPad 5. Those also featured the same design.

The Loop's Jim Dalrymple has posted his thoughts on WWDC repeatedly stating that Apple will not announce a new iPhone or iPad at the event; however, some are still hoping that Apple could surprise us.

iPhone 6 Concept Features a 3D Camera [Video]



Check out this iPhone 6 concept that features a 3D camera and an edge-to-edge display. The concept was created by Hassen cad and an additional video was edited by Ran Avni.

iPhone 6 concept with 8MP 3d camera, FaceTime HD camera with 3.2MP, new design, edge-to-edge and 4.8" display.

Apple adding a 3D camera to its device, although unlikely, is possible.

Bluetooth wireless audio Creative D200



Almost every iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch user faces a problem of listening music at home. Some use headphones, others listed through embedded speakers, however everybody wants to connect their gadget to some loud high quality home stereo system.

There tons of dock stations for various players and smartphones including ones for iPhone and iPod. However dock stations allow users to plug in just a single set of devices due to connection port incompatibilities. Even Apple changed it's port when iPhone 5 was released with lightning port. Apple Photographer Details The Creative Process Of Creating Product Photos



Apple is known for the simple, no-frills photos of its mobile devices and, as it turned out, a lot of effort goes into creating those images. To throw some light on Apple’s creative process, The Verge interviewed a photographer Peter Belanger, who has worked with Apple for many years. Belanger reveals that Apple pays extreme attention to details when it comes to photos of its products, providing him with sketches and an extensive shot list.

Jony Ive’s Design Overhaul Could Lead To Delays For iOS 7



Today Bloomberg reported that Jony Ive’s efforts to redesign iOS as part of his new software design role puts Apple at risk of delaying the release of iOS 7. While a public release is said to currently stay on schedule for "as soon as September", internal deadlines in the company has been pushed back as software teams race to finish iOS 7 and prepare a preview for Worldwide Developers Conference in June.

Apple Patents: iPhone Used As Car’s Smart-Key And Parking Locator For Cars



Patently Apple reported on a two car-related patent applications from Apple, one helping you locate your car that is parked in a large car-park, the other allowing you to use the iPhone as a smart-key.

The smart-key concept is based on using a Bluetooth connection from the iPhone to unlock the car, which could be performed either manually or through a proximity rule, unlocking the car as you approach it.

Susan Kare about her work at Apple



Susan Kare, the creator of many of the original elements of the interface for the Apple Macintosh in the mid-1980s, comments on her work at Apple in an interview with Path (via AppleInsider). Kare joined Apple the first time under the name "Macintosh artist" through software programmer Andy Hertzfeld, whom she knew from high school.

New iPhone 5S and iPad Mini 2 May Not Arrive Until Fall



KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a new report adjusting his previous roadmap for new Apple product releases. He previously predicted that Apple would launch new iPhones and iPads in June/July. Unfortunately, that has now been pushed back significantly.

Earlier we estimated that shipments of the new iPhone would begin in July (FDD version) and September (TDD version), while iPad mini 2 would hit the market in August. Currently, market consensus for shipments of iPhone 5S, low-cost iPhone and iPad mini 2 is July, July, and August, respectively. But in light of publicly available information and our knowledge of technological trends, we now think all three products will begin shipments later than our previous expectation and market consensus.

The Mac version SimCity will arrive on June 11th



EA announced that a new game SimCity will be available for the Mac from June 11. Players will be able to purchase a Mac version of SimCity via digital download from the Origin, digital Steam-like store of EA that launched this year, as well as other digital providers. The owners of the PC version of SimCity will receive a free version for Mac and vice versa.

Apple Will Begin Volume Production Of iPad 5 In July-August



According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple will begin volume production of the iPad 5 in July-August of this year. The information on timeframe reportedly comes from sources in supply chain makers in Taiwan.

The information on a July-August ramp up of iPad 5 production contradicts many earlier rumors that had suggested the next iPad release as yearly as April.
