Apple Reportedly in Talks with Insurance Companies Over HealthKit





According to the latest report from Bloomberg, the guys from Cupertino are currently in talks with major U.S. insurance companies, which include UnitedHealth and Humana, over the possibility of using the HealthKit platform. Apple says that this platform can be utilized for collecting data required for insurance firms and various medical providers.

Apple Releases iOS 8 Beta 6 to Select Partners



According to the latest reports from BGR, the guys from Cupertino have recently released iOS 8 Beta 6 to select partners. It should be noted, however, that this is still not a gold master seed of the mobile operating system. Very soon, Apple is expected to release a final version of iOS 8 to developers for testing and after that, probably on September 9th, the new version of iOS will become available for all users worldwide.

Leaked Schematics Suggest that iPhone 6 Will Feature 1GB of RAM



According to what has been recently shared by a Weibo user nicknamed GeekBar, Apple’s iPhone 6 will get only 1GB of RAM. This is the same amount of RAM as can be found inside of the iPhone 5, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. If the leaked schematics are indeed for the upcoming 4.7-inch or 5.5-inch iPhone 6, we may assume that in terms of the amount of RAM, Apple’s next-generation smartphone will be weaker than the existing flagship devices of the rival vendors, which already have 2GB of RAM on board.

Images Showing Genuine iPhone 6 Surface Online?



A bunch of images showing something what appears to be a genuine iPhone 6 smuggled out of Foxconn appeared on the Internet earlier today. The device shown below looks pretty much the same as the iPhone 5s, however, it can boast of several noticeable improvements that include a larger screen and a new back panel. The design of the handset goes in line with all the previous rumors and reports. Still, there is no way to check the legitimacy of the photos, so I suggest you to take them with a few pinches of salt.

iOS Global Usage Falls - Analysts



According to the latest figures from a research firm Net Applications, the global usage of Apple’s iOS as an operating system has fallen behind Android.
