Rumors About Release of TaiG Jailbreak Tool for iOS 8.2 Are False - TaiG Team



Earlier this week, rumors appeared on the Internet suggesting that the TaiG Jailbreak Team would release a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 within few days. These rumors surfaced on the Internet ahead of Mobile Security Summit (MSS), which was held in Beijing, China on March 27th and where the hackers discussed the possibility to create a platform for communication among world’s most prominent jailbreak developers.

Chinese Firm Compares Apple to Nazis to Promote Its Own Smartphone



Creating anti-Apple ads has for a long time been the priority of Samsung and Microsoft. However, what this companies have never done is comparing the guys from Cupertino and their iOS to Nazis and their regime.

One Chinese company called LeTV has recently released a poster showing Apple in the form of Nazis. This poster has been created as a part of the promo campaign for the company’s upcoming Android device. The offensive image, which has been first spotted on Weibo, is available below, take a look.

New Rumors About Apple's Beats-Based Streaming Music Service Appear Online



As you probably know, Apple is currently working on its new streaming music service, which is based on the Beats Music functionality and which is expected to be embedded either to iOS 8.4 or iOS 9. According to the latest report released by The New York Times reporters, Trent Reznor and Jimmy Iovine are playing major roles in the development of the service. The reporters believe that in terms of functionality and usability this Apple’s creation will be quite similar to Beats Music and that it will be priced $9.99 per month, just like the rival services.

Apple Releases Fourth iOS 8.3 Beta Available for Developers and Public Beta Testers



Following the release of the fifth OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 beta, the guys from Cupertino on Tuesday made the fourth iOS 8.3 beta available for developers. This same beta is also available for the members of iOS public beta testing program. The release comes nearly two weeks after the release of the previous iOS 8.3 beta, which could boast of support of Google’s two-step verification, wireless CarPlay connectivity, new emojis and a number of other improvements.

Apple Finally Stops Signing iOS 8.1.3 - Hackers



Following the release of the fourth beta of iOS 8.3 to developers and public testers, the guys from Cupertino stopped signing iOS 8.1.3. I must admit, this is a piece of bad news for all those people who use jailbroken iPhones and iPads as it is now impossible to downgrade to this version of Apple’s mobile operating system after unsuccessful jailbreak. The risk of turning your fully functional device into a brick has once again risen.

iOS 8.3 Features New iTunes and App Store Password Settings



Apart from Siri’s ability to make calls using iPhone’s speakerphone added to the latest iOS 8.3 beta, one beta-tester has recently noticed one more feature included to the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. This feature is a new Setting tab called Password Settings. It allows user to configure the frequency of password entries in the iTunes and App Store as well as to let him download free apps without using the password. Siri Now Can Make Calls Using Speakerphone



With the release of iOS 8.3 beta, the guys from Cupertino have slightly improved the functionality of the build-in voice assistant. According to what reliable sources write, Siri now can make calls via speakerphone every time user asks for that using the “Hey Siri” command. Strangely enough, such a simple feature was missing in iOS 8 - 8.2. It’s good Apple discovered this and found a solution to the problem.

Apple Gets Patent for Brand New Mac Keyboard



Apple on Thursday was granted a patent for “Method and Apparatus for Localization of “Haptic Feedback”. In other words, this is the document, which describes a brand new type of a Mac keyboard with a touch-sensitive flat surface similar to the one Magic Trackpad has. Physical keys on this keyboard are replaced with virtual ones. Their work is based on the technology nearly identical to Force Touch that debuted in the Apple Watch and the trackpad of Apple’s new 12-inch MacBook.

iOS 8 Adoption Rate Reaches 77% - Apple



According to the official data shared by Apple, iOS 8 adoption rate reached 77% on March 16th. The adoption rate has increased 2% over the last two weeks. One possible reason for such an increase is the release of iOS 8.2, which can boast of a number of important stability and performance improvements as well the support of the long-anticipated Apple Watch, which is expected to hit the store shelves in April.

Cortana to Debut on iOS and Android Devices Later This Year?



According to the latest report from Reuters, Apple’s rival, Microsoft, is currently planning to make the updated version of its personal assistant called Cortana available not only on Windows Phone platform, but also on iOS and Android. Unlike the Siri and Google Now, the virtual assistant developed by the guys from Redmond won’t just respond to user’s requests. It will reportedly predict the help user may need.

Here's How Apple Watch Companion App for iPhone Looks Like [Images]



As you probably know, Apple’s iOS 8.2 can boast of one special app. This is the Apple Watch companion, which can be used to fine tune the wearable device and control it from the iPhone. So far, we haven’t seen the design and features of this useful app, however, thanks to iOS developer Hamza Sood we can now take a look at how the smartwatch companion looks like after one connects the Apple Watch to it.

To be honest, the app looks quite similar to the Settings tab found in iOS. There are numerous sections responsible for app layout, notifications, sounds and many other things. You can take a look at the aforementioned app screenshots below.

Apple Launches iOS 8.3 Public Beta Testing Program



Just as we expected, Apple has recently launched iOS 8.3 public beta testing program. This means that the pre-release version of iOS 8.3 is now available for all those users, who have registered as members of the public testing program. While the guys from Cupertino have released several public OS X betas in the past, they have never offered public access to the pre-release iOS builds.
