Microsoft to Release Fitness Band Compatible with iOS?





As you probably know, Microsoft is working on its own smartwatch. This wearable device, however, will differ greatly from the rivals' products. According to a well-known Windows blogger Paul Thurrott, Microsoft's smartwatch is actually a cross-platform fitness band.

What this means is that the small gadget will be compatible not only with Windows Phone, but also with Android and iOS. Moreover, just like Apple's iWatch, it will feature a number of health and fitness-related sensors.

According to the latest reports from people familiar with the matter, Apple's handsets remain the top-selling smartphones on European market. Apple's New iPhone 5s Ad - 'Parenthood' [Video]



The guys from Cupertino have recently released a new iPhone 5s ad. This ad is a part of Apple’s “Powerful” series and it is called “Parenthood”. As you might have guessed from the name, this short video shows us how the smartphone could be used by parents to teach their children something new, to communicate and to connect with them through the apps.

Apart from the rest, the “Parenthood” ad is the first ad, in which we may see the first hardware and software solutions related to Apple’s “smart home” platform as well as the upcoming HomeKit and HealthKit apps. The ad is available below, take a look.

Pangu v1.1.0 jailbreak is now available



UPDATE: Works on iOS 7.1.2 as well.

The Pangu team has updated iOS 7.1.1 untethered jailbreak utility to version 1.1.0. They added support for Mac OS X and English version, fixed several bugs (including boot loop bug) and removed the ability to install pirate appstore (PPSync) from English version. Unfortunately to jailbreak community they also used another new exploit instead of i0n1c's one used in v.1.0. This is no good, since Apple might both in iOS 8 or even iOS 7.1.2.

According to the latest rumors, Apple will soon stop the development of Aperture and iPhoto and replace them with Photos app for OS X. The app will boast of deep integration with iCloud and contain a number of features from Aperture and iPhoto. iOS 8 Beta 3 to Come on July, 8th?



According to the latest rumors, Apple won’t seed iOS 8 Beta 3 to developers for testing until July 8th. As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino are used to seeding new major betas once in two or three weeks. Keeping in mind the fact that the second iOS 8 beta was released last week, we may assume that the third pre-release version of Apple’s mobile operating system will be unveiled at the beginning of July.

Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 7.1.x Released



UPDATE: It works on iOS 7.1.2 as well!

Today a team of Chinese hackers have released an untethered jailbreak of iOS 7.1.1. The utility is called Pangu.

Currently a jailbreak utility is only available for Windows users.

The team credits famous hacker i0n1c, who  introduced the infoleak bug during his training. By the way i0n1c has said, "if pangu team releases a public jailbreak with vulnerabilities disclosed to them during my training I consider this in no way okay."

iOS 7.1.2 to Come Soon With Lots of Improvements?

Hackers Managed to Downgrade iPhone 4S From iOS 7.1 to iOS 5.1.1 Without SHSH Blobs?



Hackers from doulCi Team managed to downgrade the Phone 4S running iOS 7.1 to iOS 5.5.1 without SHSH blobs. It should be noted, however, that there’s no confirmation of this fact neither from hackers, nor from other trustworthy sources yet.

What we have now is a short video showing the iPhone after downgrade. I must admit, it looks fully functional. The video is available below.
