China Mobile to Start Accepting Pre-Orders for Apple’s iPhone 5s and 5c on Thursday





According to the latest rumors, world’s largest carrier - China Mobile - will start accepting pre-orders for Apple’s iPhone 5s and 5c as soon as this Thursday. As to the date of the official launch, it is set for late December. At least this is what AppleInsider reports.

Touch ID is not as Reliable as it was Expected to be

Apple Filed Patent for "Smart dock" on Thursday



Apple on Thursday filed a patent for a "Smart dock for activating a voice recognition mode of a portable electronic device". Such a system will allow users to activate Siri and get access to voice recognition functions of the the compatible device once it is connected.

HondaLink Apps and Display Audio Interface to Boost iOS Car Integration



Honda has recently updated its HondaLink apps for iOS, namely Connect App, Navigation App, Aha App and Launcher App. The reason for such update is the new Honda Civic launch. Another iPhone user has been found dead these days. This time it’s a 28-year-old man from Thailand who reportedly was electrocuted by his iPhone 4S. As noted by local sources, the man was lying on the phone while charging it. And again, the charger was manufactured by an unknown third-party firm.

Well, almost - currently about 90% of the flagship models are available for purchase at the company’s retail stores. Apple on Friday started offering unlocked, SIM-free iPhone 5s units with shipping estimates of 1-2 weeks.
