Apple Has Become Leader of the U.S. Smartphone Market... Again





The company from Cupertino is again the leader of the U.S. smartphone market, CIRP reports. Back in Q3 2013, Samsung was a leader with 38% share and Apple was falling behind with 34%. As we can see now, thanks to the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5C releases, the guys from Cupertino managed to regain leadership. Take a look at the picture below.

Evasi0n7 Jailbreak Works on iOS 7.0.5, Requires Patch



I0n1c confirmed that it is safe to update to iOS 7.0.5 if you have a jailbroken device. This version of Apple’s mobile operating system is still vulnerable to the evasi0n7 jailbreak exploits. Here’s what the hacker posted on Twitter:

PC Market Declines, But Mac Sales Continue to Grow

iPhone 6 to Come in September - Rumor



South Korean sources report that the next-generation iPhone 6 will be released in September. This will happen after the iPhone ‘Phablet’ launch in May. The device, called probably iPhone Air, is said to be only 6 mm thin. Apart from that, insiders expect the new handset to be made of metal and feature the design similar to the current iPhone 5s.

New Tweak for iPhone 5s - BioProtect



A new tweak for iPhone 5s has been recently released in Cydia. It is called BioProtect and it allows you to use your fingerprint to protect certain apps from unauthorized access. For instance, you may set a fingerprint authentication for your Messages app - in such case, you won’t get access to the app unless Touch ID rescans your fingerprint.

Samsung to Hire Former Apple Store Designer
