Paid iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak released for A4 Devices [Video]
InteVyDis has released an untethered jailbreak for A4 devices on iOS 5.1.1 as part of Vulndisco Mobile 1.7. The module is vd_ios_untether_5_1_1. It works by creating a custom bundle you have to install via RedSn0w. Evgeny Legerov posted in twitter:

This jailbreak is not free and costs big money. It works only on A4 devices - iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPad 1, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G. It is not yet tested by other hackers. So this might be fake. However famous hacker I01nc notes that the company is a legit source of exploits:

Facebook Unveils App Center For All Devices And Platforms
Facebook announced the launch of a new App Center that will offer Facebook users Android, iOS, desktop, web and mobile web apps. Facebook said that it is not directly competing with Google and Apple as the App Center will forward users to both the Android and iOS platforms. So, for example, if you are visiting the App Center from an iPhone, and enter , or other Facebook-compatible games, you will be sent to the corresponding app’s page on the App Store for installation.
Vote On The Nano-SIM Card Standard Is Currently Underway
In May of last year, Apple submitted a proposal for its nano-SIM card design that would replace the current micro-SIM. Apple's iPhone climbs to 31% share of US smartphone market
comScore released on Tuesday quarterly data from its MobiLens service, which surveyed 30,000 mobile subscribers users, revealing that the iPhone made up 30.7 percent of the U.S. smartphone market and 14 percent of the mobile market in the first quarter of 2012.
Apple's share of the smartphone market grew 1.1 percent when compared to the fourth quarter of 2011. The figures were up 0.5 percent from Apple's three-month average from February.
Apple Predicted To Stop Making 17-Inch MacBook Pro
Ming-Chi Kuo, research analyst from KGI Securities, has issued a new report saying that Apple may discontinue the 17-inch MacBook Pro due to weak sales.
Also he expects that Apple will introduce new MacBook models that will combine power of the MacBook Pro and portability of MacBook Air models and dropping of 17-inch model will be part of this revamp.
Apple rumored to adopt in-cell touch panels for 2012 iPhone
Taiwan's DigiTimes cited sources in Apple's supply chain on Friday claiming that Apple could make use of thinner in-cell touch panels from Sharp and Toshiba Mobile Display for its next-generation iPhone. Production of the panels is expected to ramp up in the second quarter of this year.
"An improvement in yield rates of the in-cell touch panels at Sharp and TMD has persuaded Apple to choose to cooperate with Japan-based panel makers," the report said.
Apple partner TSMC ramping up production of 28nm mobile chips
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company is expected to begin ramping up manufacturing of its 28-nanometer ARM processors.
TSMC is said to currently have a decent yield rate on its 28nm processes, but the company remains cautious on expansion, partially because the 28nm process is so new to the industry.
For example, Apple, one of the largest users of mobile processors, still relies on the 45nm manufacturing process for its latest-generation A5X ARM CPU found in the third-generation iPad. Apple is said to have viewed newer chips as a potential risk to their products, and have stuck with older processes to ensure availability and reliability.
New iPad arrives to 21 more countries soon
Apple just published a press release that confirms the new iPad 3 will launch in 12 additional countries this Friday, April 20. Along with the 12 countries listed below, Apple confirmed an April 27 international launch date for nine more countries:
In addition to South Korea, the new iPad also will be available beginning on Friday, April 20 in Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela. Beginning on Friday, April 27, the new iPad will be available in Colombia, Estonia, India, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.

Apple Testing A5X Variant in Next-Generation iPhone Prototype
Apple is reportedly testing a prototype of next-generation iPhone hidden under the iPhone 4 casing. The next iPhone is said to not include the iPhone 4/4s form factor, and Apple is testing the prototype in older casing in order to throw off leaks. The prototype iPhone is used to test a variation of A5X processor in an iPhone. The A5X system-on-a-chip in the iPad 3 was specifically designed to run the new Retina Display, so that adding this chip in the next iPhone wouldn’t make much sense.

Dropbox And Facebook iOS Apps Are Vulnerable To Credential Theft
This week Gareth Wright that Facebook's app for iOS has a security vulnerability through which malicious users can access login credentials saved in a .plist file of the app. With a copy of that .plist file malicious users could automatically log into the affected user's Facebook account on another device. Reportedly, the vulnerability also exists on Android devices.

Sn0wBreeze will also preserve baseband version if you need carrier unlock. It can also update your modem version to 06.15 if you need unlock and stuck with 05.14 or higher baseband. If you have new iPhone 3GS that was made after 28 week of 2011 upgrading modem will not help to unlock.
