Apple Won’t Launch Apple Watch 2 in March



Contrary to the most recent rumors, Matthew Panzarino of TechCrunch believes that Apple won’t announce the second generation of the Apple Watch in March. Instead of the updated wearable device, the reporter believes Apple will launch either the 4-inch iPhone 6c, or the updated Mac lineup.

Trial Production of Apple Watch 2 to Begin in January - Rumor



According to a sketchy report from Asian insiders, Apple supplier Quanta will start the trial production of the Apple Watch 2 at the end of January. The start of trial production in January may mean that the announcement and the release of the wearable device will take place early in spring. Alongside Quanta, such companies as Foxconn, Wistron and Inventec may obtain rights to manufacture the second-generation Apple Watch.

iOS 9.3 Lets Users Monitor Data Used by Wi-Fi Assist



Looks like Apple has finally added a really useful feature to its mobile operating system. After the release of iOS 9, many users have begun complaining about the uncontrolled usage of cellular data because of Wi-Fi Assist. iOS 9.3, which is currently a beta, features one tiny tweak that makes it easy to understand exactly how much cellular data the device has used over a certain period of time. Now it is possible to monitor the Wi-Fi Assist activity and be aware of the cellular data usage to prevent additional charges from carrier.

Apple Music Now Has 10 Million Subscribers



According to the latest report from Financial Times, Apple Music now has more than 10 million active subscribers. This number includes users of all popular platforms, including iOS, Mac, PC, Android and Apple TV. Such result allowed Apple’s streaming music service to become the second largest in the world. The leader of the market is Spotify with 75 million active users and more than 20 million paying subscribers.

Foxconn Reports 20% Drop in Revenue in December



One of Apple main suppliers, Hon Hai Precision Industry, which is also known as Foxconn, has reported a 20% drop in revenue in December. The revenue of the company in the last month of 2015 accounted for $12.3 billion.

iOS 9.2.1 Beta Has Been Successfully Jailbroken

2015 Became Apple’s First Negative Year Since 2008 [Chart]

What to Expect from Apple in 2016: New iPhones, Macs and Software



It's already 2016, so I guess it's high time we talked about the products Apple may launch this year.

For me personally, two main devices are the Apple Watch 2 and the 4-inch iPhone 6c. The specs for the smartwatch remain unknown, but there’re some rumors about the specs for the smaller iPhone. The device may get Apple’s A9 processor, 2GB or RAM, better battery and a number of other minor enhancements.

Apple Accused of Slowing Down iPhone 4s with iOS 9 on Purpose



Apple has been recently accused of “deceptive trade practices and false advertising’ for not warning people that iOS 9 may noticeably slow down their iPhone 4s units. Plaintiff Chaim Lerman believes that since the update, the phone has become much slower and prevented him and other users from normal everyday usage.
