About 200 Samsung Employees Are Working Exclusively on Displays for Apple Devices





According to the latest report from Bloomberg, Samsung has earlier this month formed a separate team, which will be responsible for the development and manufacture of displays specifically for Apple’s iPads and MacBooks. Although Samsung is not the first company that has a special department dedicated to supplying Apple with various components (LG also has one), such a step shows that not only Apple is dependent from its main market rival.

Apple Acquires Israeli Firm Called LinX Imaging



According to the latest report from The Wall Street Journal, Apple has recently purchased an  Israeli camera technology called LinX Imaging. The sum of acquisition is equal to about $20 million, the reporters claim. Looks like the guys from Cupertino have decided to improve the cameras found in their iOS devices. Unlike most device manufacturers, Apple plans not to simply increase the number of megapixels, but to work on the quality of the lenses and photo sensors in general. LinX Imaging will surely help Apple to accomplish such an ambitious task as it has developed a number of technologies specifically for making the quality of images taken with a smartphone camera better.

Apple Pulls iPhoto and Aperture Apps from App Store After OS X 10.10.3 Release



Apple has recently pulled the iPhoto and Aperture apps from the Mac App Store. As you probably know, the reason for such a decision is the official release of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 with a new Photos app on board, which is a replacement for iPhoto and Aperture. The guys from Cupertino won’t update these applications anymore and with time they will even stop supporting their older versions.

Apple has just begun releasing selected third-party Apple Watch apps on the App Store. These apps include Twitter, Evernote, Things, Target, Dark Sky, The Wall Street Journal and many other applications from non-Apple developers. While the wearable device is expected to hit the store shelves only on April 24th, customers will get an exclusive opportunity to take a look at the smartwatch and try it on at the local Apple Stores starting from April 10th. Apple Invented USC Type C Alone - John Gruber



Last Monday, at the “Spring Forward” media event the guys from Cupertino announced the Apple Watch and the 12-inch MacBook. 13-inch MacBook Air SSD is Faster than 11-inch MacBook Air SSD



As you already know, Apple on Monday released slightly refreshed 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air models. Earlier this year I told you that the guys from Cupertino were planning to launch a revamped music streaming service based on both Beats Music and iTunes Radio functionality. According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, the debut of the service won’t take place at the “Spring Forward” media event, scheduled for March 9th. iPad Pro Production to Start Only in September?



According to the latest report from Bloomberg, Apple has decided to halt the development of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Earlier this year, a rumor appeared on the Internet, which suggested that the mass-production of the tablet will start in the first quarter of 2015, however, looks like the supplier will begin assembling the device only in September. Such a delay is caused by problems with the supply of display panels for the device. Samsung Announces Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge



Samsung has just announced its two new flagships, namely, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. This happened at the annual conference called Mobile World Congress. Both devices are thinner and lighter than their predecessors, moreover, they feature new metal and glass bodies, better cameras and serious hardware improvements. Apple Invites Reporters to Visit 'Spring Forward' Event on March 9



Apple has begun sending invitation to a new media event, which will take place on Monday, March 9th, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. It is currently unclear what device the guys from Cupertino will unveil. Many things point to the announcement of the Apple Watch, however, Apple remains silent and gives no comments on the issue. The company may announce the long-anticipated 12-inch MacBook Air or slightly refreshed 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Airs as well. All we know for sure is that the event highlighted “Spring Forward” will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and that Apple will offer a live stream of the media event.

Apple to Invest €1.7 Billion in New Data Centers in Europe



Apple has once again proved that it is doing its best to change this world. This time not only in terms of inventing new computers, tablets and smartphones, but in terms of saving nature. According to what Tim Cook has announced today, the guys from Cupertino are currently planning to invest  €1.7 Billion (or about $1.93 billion) in the development of new data centers, which will be powered fully by the electricity produced using renewable sources. These data centers will be reportedly located in County Galway, Ireland and central Jutland in Denmark. This data centers are expected to power Apple services used by European customers.
