Apple Starts Testing First Amazon Echo Competitor Prototypes - Bloomberg



According to the latest report from Bloomberg, Apple has begun testing first prototypes of the rumored Amazon Echo and Google Home competitor. The mysterious device reportedly features an advanced microphone and speaker system for Siri. It can be used to control different smart home appliances and, on top of that, help with things like looking for information on the Internet, listening to music, making purchases etc. Unlike all modern gadgets, the device will utilize voice commands to interact with users and perform its tasks. Moreover, there may be some other sensors, like those used for facial recognition and movement detection.

iTunes 12.4.3 with Fix for Playlists Issue Is Out



Aside from seeding new iOS 10 and macOS Sierra to developers for testing, Apple on Monday released an updated iTunes version for Mac and PC users. According to Apple, iTunes 12.4.3 brings a long-awaited fix for the issue causing changes made in the playlists on other devices not appearing in iTunes on a computer. If you have a large music library and often use playlists, you should definitely update to 12.4.3.

Those who have Mac computers can update iTunes to the version 12.4.3 using the Mac App Store. If you use a PC, use the Software Update option.

Apple Releases Update to Apple Music App for Android Users



Apple has released an update to the Apple Music app for Android users. The update contains fixes for the music playback and playlists issues as well as a number of minor stability and performance enhancements. If you use Apple Music on your Android phone or tablet, you can install the latest version using the software update option on your device. The current version of the application is 0.9.11, it is compatible with Android 4.3 or higher.

WHAT'S NEW

This update resolves a playback issue where songs skip over the first two seconds of music. It also fixes an issue where albums added to a playlist appear in an unexpected order.

iPhone 7 to Get 32GB of Base Storage?
