iPhone 8 to get Stainless Steel Frame and Vertical Camera – Rumor



Japanese reporters from Macotakara believe the next-generation iPhone has reached the DVT (Design Validation Test) stage ahead of start of mass production later this year. According to the latest report, the phone features a stainless steel frame that is placed in between the front and back glass panels. The design of the handset is a bit similar to the design of the iPhone 4, even though the iPhone 8 is larger, thinner and has an OLED display along with other notable improvements.

Apple Will Test Self-Driving Cars in California



Apple may soon start testing self-driving cars in California. According to the latest report from Business Insider, on Friday, California authorities officially issued the Cupertino giant the Autonomous Vehicle Testing Permit. Apple was added to the list of companies that have permission to test self-driving cars in the state. Aside from Apple, Google and Tesla have similar permissions.

PC Market Grows and Mac Shipments Go Up 4.1% in Q1 2017



According to the latest report from a research firm IDC, global PC shipments grew in the first quarter of 2017 for the first time in 5 years. The 0.6% growth is an indication that people still use computers and that computer manufacturers still have something to offer. Apple’s Mac shipments grew 4.1% to 4.2 million units compared to the first quarter of 2016 and allowed the Cupertino company to get the fourth spot in the top computer vendors ranking.

iOS 11 Won’t Support Any 32-bit Apps



According to the latest rumor shared by a developer Steven Troughton-Smith, Apple will stop supporting 32-bit apps with the release of iOS 11. What this means is that old applications may stop function and not only lack updates and important bug fixes.
