Apple to Release New Gadgets with Sapphire Glass Solar Power Panel - Rumors



According to the recent rumors, the company from Cupertino is seriously thinking about embedding its would-be gadgets - smartphones, tablets, laptops etc. - with sapphire solar power panels. One year ago, Apple filed a patent for integrated touch sensor and solar assembly. Moreover, there’s another Apple’s patent granted just a couple of days ago - the one that describes a new MacBook with a touch sensitive panel on a lid capable of capturing solar energy.

Foxconn to Build Manufacturing Facility in the United States



Apple’s main supplier - Foxconn (or Hon Hai) - is said to be planning to build a manufacturing facility in the United States. The would-be factory will produce LCD-panels for Apple’s gadgets, Chairman Terry Gou claims.

Ming-Chi Kuo's Predictions Concerning iPhone's Rival - Galaxy S5



Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities has recently published a report claiming that Samsung will embed a fingerprint sensor and a 32-bit processor into its Galaxy S5. The analyst thinks that the South Korean company needs a some kind of biometric verification system in order to keep up with Apple’s iPhone 5s and iPhone 6. And he’s right.

First Leaked Screenshots of iOS in the Car



iOS Developer Steven Troughton-Smith has successfully activated the iOS in the Car feature inside the iOS Simulator. iOS in the Car allows an iOS 7 users to connect their iPhones, iPads and iPods to their car’s built-in center console display to use Apple Maps, read Messages, make phone calls, and control music. References to the feature and functionality has actually been tucked into iOS 7 since the very first beta. Apple is expected to launch iOS in the Car system later this year, maybe alongside iOS 7.1. A group of hackers called The 1775 Sec has reportedly caused a breach of Apple database. The cybercriminals claim they’ve stolen some user information and posted it to the Web.
