Apple Seeds Third iOS 9 Beta to Developers





Apple has seeded the third iOS 9 beta to developers for testing. The release comes about two weeks after the release of the second beta and a month after the debut of iOS 9 at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference. The guys from Cupertino have added a wide number of bug fixes and new features to the update, making iOS 9 a thing worth waiting for.

Hackers Release Taig 2.3.1 Beta with Cydia 1.1.20



Taig team has recently released a beta version of of its tool for untethered jailbreak of iOS 8.4. This version has an index 2.3.1 and contains only one improvement, which is Cydia 1.1.20 integration. In case you don’t know, Cydia 1.120 has a bunch of enhancements and bug fixes that make its work more stable. Apart from the inclusion of Cydia 1.1.20, looks like there are no other new features. This means that if you have already updated to this version of Cydia, you can simply ignore Taig 2.3.1 beta.

Taig Releases Updated Tool for Jailbreak with Several Fixes



Taig team has recently released a new version of its jailbreak tool for iOS 8.4. This version contains a fix for a bug that made it easy for applications to become root. Apart from that, the update contains Cydia 1.1.19. Both improvements are aimed at making the Taig utility more stable and efficient. Taig Tool for iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Has Been Stolen by PP



As you probably know, Apple has recently released iOS 8.4 with a brand new Apple Music app and a bunch of other improvements and bug fixes. Within just several hours, both Taig team and PP released tools for jailbreak of this version of Apple’s mobile operating system.

While the release of such utility by Taig team looks quite obvious as the hackers have been working on it for a long period of time, it appears that PP has simply stolen the Taig jailbreak. According to the latest screenshots showing the vulnerabilities used in Taig and PP tools for iOS 8.4 jailbreak, the hackers from PP team have indeed stolen the technology developed by Taig. Apple Releases Second Beta of iOS 9 to Developers



Apart from seeding the second beta of OS X El Capitan 10.11, the guys from Cupertino have released iOS 9 Beta 2 to developers for testing. The second build can boast of a number of bug fixes for Mail app, AirPlay and other sections of the mobile operating system. New Vulnerability Found That Allows to Steal Any App Password from iOS and OS X



According to the latest report from security researchers, Apple’s OS X and iOS have a vulnerability that allows hackers to steal passwords from all the applications installed on a device. The report comes from a reliable source, The Register, that is why I think we can believe it. This software bug affects not only those apps that are installed from the App Store or other sources, but even the native apps like Mail. What is interesting is that the vulnerability was first found in October 2014. This means that the guys from Cupertino either ignore or have difficulties in fixing the problem.

Serious Vulnerability Affecting Older Macs Discovered in OS X



A new OS X vulnerability has been recently discovered by a security researcher Pedro Vilaca. This vulnerability affects Macs that are older than one year and lets the cyberthieves control the computer remotely even after it is restored to factory settings of formatted. The aforementioned exploit opens a massive hole in the security of Apple's OS X, which is currently called the most reliable and protected operating system on market.

Apple Reveals Temporary Fix for Messages App Bug

New iOS Bug Discovered that Crashes iPhones Using Text Message



A bug in iOS 8 has been discovered today, which affects the Messages app users. This bug allows to crash the Messages app or the iPhone using a special chain of Arabic characters and symbols. Immediately after a user receives an iMessage or an SMS with these symbols, the iPhone reboots. If the affected user opens the Messages app after the reboot, the app crashes and continues to crash each time the person attempts to open it.

Apple Officially Releases First Watch OS Update



The guys from Cupertino have recently released the very first update for the Apple Watch operating system. The Watch OS 1.0.1 contains a number of bug fixes and brings a number of performance and security improvements to the smartwatch. Unfortunately, there’s no Find My Watch feature, which was rumored to be included in the first software update. Looks like adding such a feature is a bit complicated task.

As you probably know, Apple on Monday released the third iOS 8.4 beta with a brand new Music app and a number of important improvements and bug fixes to developers and the members of public testing program. Apart from the iOS beta, the guys from Cupertino have also seeded the third OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 beta with a bunch of stability enhancements and bug fixes to developers for testing. The release took place two weeks after the release OS X 10.10.4 Beta 2. The very first version of Yosemite 10.10.4 was released in April.
