Spotify App is Updated With a New Way to Browse Music and Other Features
Spotify app for iOS was updated with a bunch of new features, namely, a new way to browse music, new languages (Thai, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, Malay and Greek) and bug fixes. As usual, you may either listen to music for free or upgrade to Spotify Premium and get unlimited access to the Spotify library. The premium account also gives you the opportunity to sync your favorite playlists to your iPhone - to have all the music you like close at hand.
Apple Launches Its Revamped 'Bug Reporter' Website
Apple has recently redesigned its “Bug Reporter” tool, which is also known as "Radar". As to the new features, the most notable are auto-saving and improved searching. The revamped developers’ website is now up and running - it went online this weekend.
The site recognizes when a bug has already been reported, apart from that, it is now very easy to attach files to the report.
Apple's Bug Reporter includes the ability to filter bugs, and utilize an advanced search to find specific problems. Development can be divided into a number of categories, including operating systems like iOS, and services like iCloud.
The website is only available for those who have an Apple’s developer account.
Minecraft Pocket Edition App for iOS Updated
Minecraft Pocket Edition for iOS has been updated recently with the ability to easily connect to external servers and some other useful features. Pandora Radio app for iOS was updated on Thursday. Now it has a sleep timer with 15, 30, or 60 minute options that allow you to listen to your favorite songs while you’re falling asleep. Apart from that, there’re some stability improvements and bug fixes in the version 4.5.
Apple Has Released Safari 6.1 Seed 6 for Developers
Apple has released Safari 6.1 Seed 6 for developers. It is compatible with OS X Lion and Mountain Lion and requires Security Update 2013-002. Here’s what the company from Cupertino says about the new beta-version:
This pre-release version of Safari includes WebKit enhancements for better text, layout, and accessibility support. It also includes a redesigned Web Inspector with a streamlined toolbar, a new Activity Viewer, and other great tools for building and debugging your website. Real Racing 3 for iOS Updates with New Features
One of the most popular games on the App Store - Real Racing 3 - was updated on August 21. As to the improvements, EA says it added the difficulty tuning, new cars, tracks, events, cameras and more to the game.
Apple Released iOS 7 Beta 6 to Developers
Apple has released iOS 7 Beta 6 today, so you’re welcome to download it. This release should have occurred next week, but somehow the company from Cupertino decided not to wait for so long. According to the rumors, this is the last Beta before the official iOS 7 release on September 10th.
The size of the new update is only 13.5MB, so obviously it includes only some minor changes and bug fixes. Anyway, if there would be some improvements that are worth mentioning, I’ll immediately inform you.
So far, the only thing I know is that this Beta fixes the problem with iTunes in the Cloud connected with content downloads and purchases.
Roku App for iOS Got the Update
Roku is a streaming player that allows you to watch photos and videos taken using your iPhone, listen to music etc. on your TV. All you need is a Roku multimedia console, an iOS device and a Roku app installed on your smartphone or tablet. This application is available on the App Store and it has been updated recently with the ability to stream your favorite videos to the large TV screen.
