Apple CEO Tim Cook has recently assured the reporters and Apple fans that the company is not planning to create a "converged Mac and iPad." According to Cook, the company is interested in creating the best tablet in the world and the best computer in the world, however, these should be two separate products, not the one. Such words once again prove that Apple fights against the so-called ‘hybrid’ products that combine the features of tablets and laptops. Still, the statement looks quite strange as in recent weeks, the company has been heavily promoting the iPad Pro with a Smart Keyboard that makes this device reminiscent of the MacBook.

The iPad Pro outperforms all iOS devices that have been tested in both single-core and multi-core tests and that is not strange since Apple has assured its users that this device is the most efficient in the entire lineup of portable Apple-branded gadgets.
Below you can take a look at the charts showing the Geekbench results.

Apple has just launched its streaming music service called Apple Music on Android. Just as it was announced earlier this year, the service costs $9.99/month and offers users unlimited access to thousands of songs of various genres. Family membership requires Mac or iOS device, however, that’s not strange for the service created by Google’s market rival.
In the most-recent interview to The Independent reporters, Apple CEO Tim Cook has revealed that he travels with the new iPad Pro and iPhone and that he feels he doesn’t need the laptop or computer any more. The reason for a switch to the tablet is probably connected with new Smart Keyboard compatible with this device. Cook has also pointed out that the Apple Pencil is not the stylus in its usual meaning, but a pencil that can be used for drawing, writing and performing a number of other things.

According to some leaked internal Sony documents, last year, the company offered the "Spectre" star Daniel Craig a certain sum of money for using the Xperia Z4 phone in the upcoming movie. Craig, as well as Sam Mendes, the movie director, refused Sony’s multimillion deal. Moreover, they refused to use Samsung’s handset as well.
According to the latest reports from people familiar with the matter, Apple will start selling the long-awaited 12.9-inch iPad Pro on Wednesday, November 11th. Apple on Tuesday announced its financial results in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2015. Apart from record-breaking iPhone and Mac sales and incredible revenue, the company also reported about the number of iPads sold over the last couple of months. According to the official figures shared by the company, the number of iPads sold to customers worldwide in the fourth quarter is equal to 9.8 million units. Unfortunately for Apple, this figure demonstrates a 20% year-over-year decline in global sales. Even though Apple continues to be one of the leaders of the tablet market, looks like nothing can stop it from stagnation.
The analyst Benedict Evans has recently shared a chart showing how iPad sales declined since the debut of the original first-gen iPad back in 2010.
The Pangu team has recently released an update for the jailbreaking utility capable of hacking compatible iPhones, iPads and iPod touches running iOS 9-iOS 9.0.2. According to the latest report from people familiar with the matter, Apple has placed limited orders for the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro, which is expected to go on sale as soon as next month. In particular, the company plans to sell only 2.5 million iPad units by the end of this year, which is obviously not very large number if compared to usual iPhone shipments. Moreover, if the demand for the tablet with massive pressure-sensitive display turns out to be weak, the orders for the first quarter of 2016 may be even lower, DigiTimes reporters claim.
Earlier this week, Apple has released iOS 9.1 with over 150 new emojis, improvements to Live Photos and bug fixes to users worldwide. The update has also patched the vulnerabilities used in the untethered jailbreak of iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units running iOS 9 or higher. All these things allow Apple to finally focus its attention on the development of the next version of iOS, which is iOS 9.2.
