iPhone 5s In Stock Again - Piper Jaffray





Apple suppliers have finally produced enough iPhone 5s units to catch up with the demand, latest survey claims. Well, almost - currently about 90% of the flagship models are available for purchase at the company’s retail stores. And it’s a very substantial increase, I must admit. iPhone 5s supply grew from 31% on November 11th to what we have now.

Nokia Releases Lumia 2520 Ad - Video



Nokia has released a new ad for its most recent tablet running Windows 8 - Lumia 2520. To be honest, the gadget looks pretty much the same as Windows Surface, but, unlike the Microsoft’s creation, features a separate physical keyboard equipped with a powerful battery that lets the tablet work for as many as 16 hours on a single charge. Impressive, don’t you think so?

Quanta Computer to Produce Larger-Sized iPad?



According to the latest Digitimes report, Apple has signed a deal with Quanta Computer to produce larger-sized iPad. The Taiwanese-based company is said to start the production of the 12.9-inch iPad in the second half of 2014. There’re also rumors that deal with iWatch, however, I don’t know whether we can trust these rumors or not.

Apple Purchased Israeli Firm PrimeSense for $360



Apple spokeswoman Kristin Huguet on Sunday confirmed that the company from Cupertino has purchased an Israeli firm called PrimeSense. This sum of acquisition is $360 million and this is probably the only thing we know for sure.

Product (RED) Mac Pro Sold for Nearly $1 Million



Product (RED) Mac Pro, designed by Jony Ive and Marc Newson, was sold on Saturday for $977,000. The device, which was at first expected to be purchased for about $40,000-60,000, surprisingly became the most expensive personal computer ever created. The charity Sotheby's auction aimed at raising money for The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Apple Wins Another Court Case Against Samsung



Samsung will pay Apple for copying some of the iPhone key features and design elements. For those who don’t remember - last year the South Korean company was found guilty of violating several Apple patents. The sum Samsung was ordered to pay Apple last year was $1.05 billion.

Apple Announces Unlocked iPhone 5s Availability in 1-2 Weeks



Apple on Friday started offering unlocked, SIM-free iPhone 5s units with shipping estimates of 1-2 weeks. For you to compare - those who decide to purchase the device on contract have to wait for about 3-5 weeks. As to the prices, they’re just the same for both SIM-free and locked smartphones. The iPhone 5s with 16GB of memory on board is available for $649; for the model with 32GB and 64GB of memory one will have to pay extra $100 or $200 respectively.
