Apple yesterday, at WWDC, announced iOS 5 for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. The new major changes include a completely revamped notifications system, over-the-air software updates and activation for new devices, and iTunes library syncing over Wi-Fi.
The new Notification Center will aggregate all notifications that will appear at the top of the screen and will be less obtrusive overall.
iOS 5 will be "PC free" , so a new device and iOS updates can be activated over the air.
Tunes library can be also synchronized wirelessly via Wi-Fi.
AirPlay Mirroring will also be possible to wirelessly mirror an iPad's display to a television connected to an AppleTV.
Twitter will be integrated into iOS and Contacts can be updated automatically.
Using this tutorial you will be able to create custom firmware and untether jailbreak iOS 4.3 running on Apple TV 2G. This tutorial uses PwnageTool 4.3.3.1 for Mac OS X.
DevTeam released the untethered jailbreak for the latest iOS 4.3.3 - utilities RedSn0w 0.9.6 rc16 and PwnageTool 4.3.3.1.
The 4.3.3 untether works on all Apple devices that support 4.3.2 except for the iPad2:
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4 (GSM)
iPod Touch 3G
iPod Touch 4G
iPad 1
AppleTV 2G (PwnageTool only for now)
Redsnow is easy to use, it is available for Windows and Mac OS. As usual for unlockers - do not update to 4.3.3, use PwnageTool (MAC) and Sn0wBreeze (Windows) to preserve the baseband.
As noted by GigaOM, Apple has hired audio pioneer Tomlinson Holman to head up the company's audio projects.
Apple has reportedly hired Tomlinson Holman as its new audio chief, according to a tweet by Leo Laporte Wednesday morning. Laporte said he had it "on good authority" that Holman "is joining Apple to run audio." Holman is the brain behind Lucasfilm's THX sound, and the world's first 10.2 surround sound system. Apple had yet to respond to a request for confirmation as of this writing.
Today Apple released new iOS 4.3.3. It fixed the recently found tracking issue. New iOS 4.3.3 reduces the size of the tracking cache, doesn’t back it up to iTunes and turns it off when you tell it to turn off. Here are the direct download links:
DevTeam released much anticipated untethered jailbreak for the latest iOS 4.3.1 - RedSn0w 0.9.6 rc9 and PwngeTool 4.3.

iPhone 4 (GSM)
iPod Touch 3G

iPad 1
AppleTV 2G (PwnageTool only for now)

Ultrasn0w doesn't work on iOS 4.3.1 yet (even with iOS 4.3.1 + old baseband). The fix will be available soon. Here's a warning from DevTeam for unlockers:

On Friday Apple released an update to iPhoto 9 (part of iLife’11). This update iPhoto 9.0.1 should resolve a data loss problem when upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9.
Shortly after the release of iPhoto '11, lots of users reported that they have problems. After upgrading users found some or all their photos disappearing. Somebody lost all or some photo libraries, data while upgrade process. iPhoto '11 also drops support for older AppleTVs and photo calendars. But Apple claims that the upgrade process is “generally safe and reliable” and recommends all download and install iPhoto software update iPhoto 9.0.1 before updating to iPhoto '11.
