What's new in iOS 6 Beta 2 firmware (x8)
Apple released iOS 6 Beta 2 today. Let's take a look what's changed:
1. Apple added a toggle to control whether or not you can use iOS 6′s new Shared Photo Streams feature. The toggle is in both the Photos settings page and the iCloud settings.
Apple released iOS 6.0 Beta 2 for developers
Apple recently released new iOS 6 beta 2 for developers. It is available as an OTA update or as a download here. Apple also updated Xcode 4.5 developer preview 2, Apple TV beta 2 as well.

Apple Puts Up iOS 6 Banners at Moscone West
Apple has begun putting up banners for iOS 6 at Moscone West, where WWDC 2012 will take place next week. It looks like the next version of Apple mobile operating system is not rumors any more - it's a fact.
iOS 6 is expected to bring improvements to some stock applications. Apple is believed to be dropping Google Maps and replacing it with its own in house solution.

Apple accidentally reveals iCloud.com banner notifications
Users who visited the iCloud.com website on Tuesday could find a test of a new banner notification feature that was mistakenly made public, revealing a forthcoming feature for the service. An iOS-style notification was at the top of a browser and looked like:
"Default Title for English," the title read, followed by "English - This is test message description."
To the right of the notification was an 'X,' allowing users to close the message from their browser. The test message could not be selected and it did not link anywhere.
Apple Working On Local Backup System For iOS Devices In Genius Bar
Sources indicate that Apple is planning to add new hardware solution to its Apple Store Genius Bar that would allow its employees to quickly back up data on the devices requiring replacement and pull back that data on the replacement devices. Apple projected to reach 116M iPhone, 55M iPad sales in 2012
Analyst Michael Walkley with Canaccord Genuity expects that combined iPhone and iPad sales in calendar 2012 to reach more than 170 million in another record breaking 12-month span. He sees 2012 being another banner year for Apple, with sales of 116.4 million iPhones and 54.6 million iPads. Walkley believes that iOS mobile operating system share will reach 18 percent, and will take the second place behind only Google's Android with 51.9 percent on sales of 335.5 million handsets.
"We believe Apple sold through at least (12 million) iPhone units in the U.S. market during the December quarter," Walkley wrote. "With some channel inventory built for the new 4S, we believe the U.S. market could exceed (14 million) iPhones sold into the channel during the December quarter."

Apple has put up a 'Let's talk iPhone' banner at its Cupertino campus auditorium ahead of its press event on October 4th. The banner shows the same icons as the ones placed on the event invitations to the media.
Apple Confirms: Media Event on October 4th
Apple has reportedly sent out invitations for a media event set for October 4th. As far as we know the event will take place at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino. If you look at the invitation posted above, it becomes clear that this media event will obviously focus on the next-generation iPhone - the tagline for the banner is “Let’s talk iPhone”. The invitation also includes four Apple’s applications: Calendar, Clock, Maps, and Phone. We suggest that all applications may be connected with the new system of voice recognition that Apple is focusing on now – Assistant that is waited to appear on the iPhone 5.
Apple is expected to unveil two iPhone's during this media event. The next iPhone 5 is rumored to feature the company’s A5 processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 8-megapixel camera, iOS 5 with iCloud integration. The iPhone 4S is expected to be a low-price smartphone.
