A number of Apple Stores across the USA have encountered with iPod shuffle shortages this week. This has caused rumors suggesting that Apple will no longer produce the smallest and the cheapest portable music player in its lineup. As it turned out, this rumors don’t make sense. The guys from Cupertino have no plans to stop the manufacture of the iPod shuffle. This week’s shortage is a result of supplier changes, which have temporarily stopped the production process.
iOS 8.1.3 to Be Released Next Week and Include Minor Improvements
According to the latest reports from reliable sources, a minor iOS 8.1.3 update is currently in the works. It won’t contain noticeable stability improvements or design changes, however, it will fix some bugs and slightly enhance the overall performance of Apple’s mobile operating system. Samsung Closes One of Its Retail Stores in London
Samsung has recently closed one of its largest flagship stores, Samsung Experience Store located at the shopping center called Westfield Stratford City in London is no longer working. Currently, there’re only nine flagship stores of the South Korean company in the country and this number looks ridiculous of to compare it to the number of Apple Retail Stores. In case you don’t know, the guys from Cupertino have 38 locations across the UK. Three stores are situated in London - at Covent Garden, Regent Street and White City. Apple Makes Foxconn Improve Its Robots for Assembling iPhones
According to the latest report from a Chinese website Jiemian, Foxconn robots, which were designed to assemble Apple's iPhones, are currently not precise enough to cope with that task. Asian Smartphone Manufacturer Accuses Apple of Patent Infringement
According to the latest reports from reliable sources, Chinese low-cost smartphone vendor called Digione accused Apple of violating its patent. The Asian manufacturer claims the design of Apple’s latest iPhone 6 was copied from firm’s 5.5-inch handset with 8-core MediaTek CPU, Android OS on board and a price tag of 799 yuan. The iPhone 6, by the way, has a price tag of 5288 yuan.

U.S. President Signs E-Label Act Turning It into Law
President Obama has recently signed the E-Label Act, which would allow Apple and other companies not to place Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification stamps on back panels of smartphones and tablets.
