Apple Won't Develop iPad mini, Will Focus on iPad Pro
According to the latest report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Apple is currently planning to stop the development of the iPad mini to focus on the new project, which deals with the larger-screened iPad Pro. This year's iPad mini 3, the reporters claim, became the last Apple's product of its kind. While the guys from Cupertino haven't yet commented in the issue, such a step looks quite possible and logical. You see, the smaller tablet can be now substituted by the 5.5-inch iPhone, which is a bit smaller, but large enough for comfortable web-browsing, reading or playing games. For all the other things there's a normal full-size iPad.
iPad Pro to Feature 12.2-inch Display, Stereo Speakers and Be 7mm Thick
As you probably know, next year the guys from Cupertino are expected to release a new tablet called probably iPad Pro. According to the latest report found on the Japanese website called Mac Otakara, the new device will boast of massive 12.2-inch display, stereo speakers on top and bottom sides and the thickness of about 7mm. As you probably know, Apple has recently launched its long-anticipated payments service Apple Pay. According to the latest reports from reliable sources, there is a glitch in one of the networks that work with Apple’s new system, which makes the Bank of America customers pay twice for each product they purchase. The good news is that both Bank of America and Apple are aware of the problem and currently working on the solution. All the money the customers have lost so far will be soon refunded.
How to live stream Apple’s Oct. 16 iPad/Mac event on Windows

Apple TV channel for today’s iPad and iMac event live stream is now available
Apple previously announced that it would be live streaming Thursday’s iPad and Mac event, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the company is pushing out an Apple TV channel to stream the video. It is a bit surprising, however, that the channel is already available at midnight Pacific time. It’s usually much later in the day that it appears.

Apple Is Working on New 12-inch MacBook Air in Multiple Colors - Rumor

Purported Battery for 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Appears in Video
Following a leaked image showing a 2.915 mAh battery for the upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6 that appeared on the Internet last week, a new video was shared today by a French website called Nowhereelse.fr, which shows us that same part for Apple's handset. The leaked part looks genuine and goes in line with all the previous rumors about the device. Apple Granted Patent for Method of Hardening Sapphire Screens
Apple on Thursday was granted a patent for a technology of hardening the sapphire structure. The patent application was published on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office official website. The patent is entitled "Sapphire property modification through ion implantation" and it describes a method of adding ions in a sapphire structure so that it becomes stronger and prevents this material from cracking. The advantage of the new technology is that it allows to make the sapphire stronger without using the chemicals.
