New OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 Betas Are Around the Corner?





According to the latest rumors, Apple has sent an email to registered developers warning them that the company will be performing a CloudKit data wipe. This may indicate that the guys from Cupertino are working on the new versions of  iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite Developer Preview. As noted by people familiar with the matter, Apple will seed new betas to developers on July 7th.

Samsung and GlobalFoundries to Produce Apple's A9 Chips in 2015



According to what people familiar with the matter say, Samsung and GlobalFoundries will start producing Apple’s 14-nanometer A9 chips in 2015. Apart from these companies, two more firms may get a chance to supply Apple with processors for its smartphones and tablets. These firms include Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and Intel.

Pangu v1.1.0 jailbreak is now available



UPDATE: Works on iOS 7.1.2 as well.

The Pangu team has updated iOS 7.1.1 untethered jailbreak utility to version 1.1.0. They added support for Mac OS X and English version, fixed several bugs (including boot loop bug) and removed the ability to install pirate appstore (PPSync) from English version. Unfortunately to jailbreak community they also used another new exploit instead of i0n1c's one used in v.1.0. This is no good, since Apple might both in iOS 8 or even iOS 7.1.2.

CarPlay to Debut in Audi's 2015 Cars



German carmaker Audi has recently announced that beginning from 2015, its vehicles will support Apple’s CarPlay system. What is interesting, though, is that aside from CarPlay, Audi plans to add the support of Google’s Android Auto system to its new cars. Sources at German company claim that the users will even get the opportunity to switch between the rival platforms "at any time."

New 16GB iPod Touch Teardown by iFixit

iOS 8 Beta 3 to Come on July, 8th?



According to the latest rumors, Apple won’t seed iOS 8 Beta 3 to developers for testing until July 8th. As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino are used to seeding new major betas once in two or three weeks. Keeping in mind the fact that the second iOS 8 beta was released last week, we may assume that the third pre-release version of Apple’s mobile operating system will be unveiled at the beginning of July.

5.5-inch iPhone 6 Will Feature Sapphire Display, 4.7-inch iPhone and iWatch - Won't?



As you probably know, a rumor has recently appeared on the Internet suggesting that both 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 models as well as iWatch will be equipped with a sapphire-covered display.
